The primary VPS is down, and I have put a ticket in to have the VPS reset.
I will be moving the primary CCE VPS to a new host where I have more control over resets and such.
It looks as if the attacks have moved to the primary, as this is the same behavior exhibited in the CHNcoin attacks.
I apologize for any inconvenience.

Well, its partially up. What you are seeing is the CCE on the old VPS as I rebuild on the new VPS. I will post when the new VPS is online. |

CCE is up on the new VPS and DNS appears to have propagated.The TRC explorer was not updating on the old VPS due to a damaged database from the "issues" today, but is running fine on the new VPS. For those who need to change CCE IP address (though I would highly recommend using the domain names) the new IP is 69.164.204.19 I will keep the old VPS running for a few days in case a few people still need it up. The new VPS has more CPU/memory than the last, and I have much more control over its functions.

No, its not that. It simply is that LTC already has a few good block explorers and I would rather use my resources helping coins that do not have the resource base the LTC community has. |

PS: proposal : Add LTC/BTC links to external major block explorers - this way your page can serve as an entry page for all alt coin explorers.
Sometimes one needs this for quick comparison of different coin properties, like... what was the avg block generation rate for coin XYZ in the last 24 hours (e.g. ca. 30 minutes for FTC as opposed to the advertised 2 minutes...), ...what was the launch date of the coin, and other stuff...

I want to add more coins to CCE. The main issue now is resources. Once I get done shifting all the current coins to the main VPS, I will need to upgrade that VPS to add more coins. Since I started publishing block explorers with PPC, my costs have quadruped. To upgrade to the next level VPS, to add more coins, will double my current costs. CCE has come quite a way since that first PPC explorer, and is now more stable and faster then it ever was. I do not want to go backwards in terms of quality, so my only option is to upgrade the VPS. I did not start, nor do I continue to maintain, CCE for a profit. However, I cannot afford to keep taking larger and larger losses. I could add advertising, although that is something I really do not want to do. When I finish moving all the coins, I will decide what to do about adding more coins. Until then if anybody has any suggestions on how to deal with the rising costs of adding more coins, let me know. |

BTW you could add YAC explorer, it is the only altcoin launched recently which adds something new to the existing scene and is the only one with price going up right now! http://bter.com/trade/yac_btcI'm not sure if there is a bounty for YAC explorer but I'm sure YAC community can arrange one. +1 Agreed. We need a YAC explorer. Its the first 'new' altcoin since litecoin. |
