So it's reported all over this board - although it keeps getting moved to the subsections where nobody checks - that cryptsy are stopping peoples withdrawals.

Is this a sign they are now going to gox us or is there just another technical issue at that dump like 100's of times before?

No other exchange has ever managed to fuck up as much as crapsy and still be in business.

Mullick deliberately avoided answering any questions he was asked but only kept posting on about the real estate thing that seemed a false alarm.

So are they dead, dying or just a bunch of fuck ups who can't get their exchange working smoothly after all these years?

Also why although this is a very important issue worthy of the main alt section does it keep getting hidden to sub sections of this board that most don't even look at.

This is about to be the alts version of mt gox and this board keeps pushing the threads away from the people who should be reading it.

This should not be sent to the service providers sub section since most only check here or the ANN section.

If there had been a thread left here weeks ago I would have seen it and removed my coins way before. This is costing alt users a lot of funds and is a cover-up not moderation to keep pushing this out of the main section.

Alt users deserve to be warned on the main section when there is a major threat that is confirmed by many people to their alt funds.

Ya touchy issue for mod's.
it borders on two sub-forum groups.

Technically it should be a services forum discussion but on the other hand
it's a broad topic where it could have a lot of discussion aspects to it.

if you wanted to be anal about it you could probably think of a reason to move every ALT main topic.
And if an exchange is having so many problems i think leaving a topic like this would be beneficial.
Cryptsy has a nasty habit of fucking people over and going silent for long periods.
I watched them do it before on many occasions.. first hand with my coins !

And did anyone warn me ? hell no LOL

These guys fuck over people in the scene and you all just cry Troll's  Roll Eyes
until it's you !

The frequency in which these cry technical problems has only grown in time.
it seems they just get worse and worse at being able to handle withdrawals and deposits.
and strangely all these other exchanges never seem to have a problem.. why is that ?

Cryptsy needs to be shutdown.

I wasn't as concerned as I am now until I noticed Mullick who was reading your thread was just deliberately ignoring questions relating to people funds being held up.

Since he is the wallet master he should have offered some explanation. Since he did not even acknowledge the question I asked him directly three times it would seem he is deliberately trying to avoid him having said anything on record about it.

All cryptsy staff will come with the old - I didn't have access or knowledge to these issues if it goes full GOX.

Also that 2 post noob obviously using a fake account that didn't wish to reveal his real account saying your real name was very worrying. Showing up only in the cryptsy thread.

They are either masters at fucking up public relations and confidence and their own exchange.... or just plain scammers.

Either way I can't say I have much faith in their future at this rate. Best to sell this exchange to some people that have the tech and public relations skills to run something like this.

That is their M.O.
Problems exist and are undeniable but they stay silent (or lie if cornered)

I sat on their chat way back and i kept asking randomly if anyone had got their coins.
It was weird waiting so long.. normally things went quick.
I must have asked or brought it up like 6 times in the span of an hour or two
mean while BitJohn and other mods were hanging out on chat talking occasionally.
After a while i asked BitJohn and eventually got an answer out of him.
In other occasions a year earlier if i pushed for an answer i would be mouthed off aggressively
stating he is busy.. so i didn't want to push it too much.

You know what he said ?
He claimed outright there was a fork on the coin.

So i went all over the place and found nothing.
Not even 1 single comment from anyone anywhere.
I checked the ANN topic here which was very active and like 2 or 3 other exchanges.
nothing..
There NEVER was a message at any point after that either.
if a fork had happened there would be someone somewhere saying something at least once.

And the way he said it and clearly dodged me for an hour before that was fishy.. it all just reeked of lies.

never used them again.. i had enough.

funny thing is..
It was the same old routine.
When a coin rockets up like crazy in value all of a sudden... "Wallet Problems"  Roll Eyes
I was only trying to move my coins because i was arb'ing them for profit..
A big pump was ongoing.. my coins showed up when it was over.
So take a wild mother fucking guess why they had secret wallet problems ?

I would bet ANYTHING they were arb'ing the coins themselves !!!

and THAT is why i couldn't get my coins and was waiting i bet.
And i might add too..
There was never a message anywhere on their Twitter feed about a problem (the say nothing M.O.)
on their blog or on their web site or on the IRC MOTD.. nothing no where (before and after)
It took around 12 hours for my coins to show up.. when normally it would be a few minutes.

They go out of their way to hide problems (rather than announcing them on twitter etc)
I told them before it was sleazy adding new coins with no announcement anywhere..
i said scrolling down the list and seeing a new coin by accident is not cool.
same time i mentioned withdrawal / deposit issues etc..
all of which should be mentioned on their Twitter feed or something. (Twitter = embedded into Cryptsy main page)
To keep people informed of course.. then i was mouthed off as usual. (they don't like common sense much)

want a few billion more Corrupt'sy stories ?

Is this new info i posted ?
Of course not i posted this asap at Bitcointalk long ago.. anyone care ? LOL
So it's on the record long ago.. i didn't just make that up.

EDIT:
Oh and since my personal info i used at their exchange has some how leaked onto the web
i am sure glad i didn't get verified with them.
When they added that long ago i thought fuck that i am not giving those sleazy fuckers scans of my ID etc
I am glad now LOL

Mullick's answer for how my registration details & trade activity end up posted by a new forum account here ?
..uhh "i don't know" LOL

Yeah i have little doubt they created and traded their own coins on their own exchange.

They always have deposit issues on price spikes until they dumped their load..... now withdrawal issues which is even more worrying.

They have destroyed their own exchange with their obvious manipulation and organised pump and dumps.

Their site looks great but really it is full of bugs whether intentional or just because they can't code a decent site who knows.

They got greedy and it has cost them badly. Let's hope this is not the end for them because honest traders will lose money. On the other hand if they end up in jail after being proven to have employed shady greedy tactics then i'll willingly wave goodbye to my BTC.

They are holding people funds saying the wallets are having issues.... yeah alright been going on for weeks and happening over most of the high value coins. It's very unlikely. Why don't any other exchanges have this issue for the last few weeks?

Let's hope decentralised exchanges are forth coming and populated with all the alts people want to trade which keep exchanges like cryptsy milking us all. Then we can get rid of these people for good.

Mullick you will be dragged down with your masters if you do not come clean. You must know wtf is going on with all these withdrawals being held back. If cryptsy does a GOX i'm sure people will know you were involved too.

Sure both Bitcoin and Dash just forked. I suspect some kind of shorting ala Gox.Voted: Dead/Gox.

Concerned that blockchain bloat will lead to centralization? Storing less than 4 GB of data once required the budget of a superpower and a warehouse full of punched cards. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/87/IBM_card_storage.NARA.jpg https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Punched_card

Got to love Mullick the master of the wallets totally bypassing a direct question posed to him 3 times in the thread he continued to post in.

This guy wants no comeback in this backlash.

If there was anyone that could explain this withdrawal issue surely he could have done.

I just want to say on one hand i feel kind of bad for bad mouth mouthing them but from
a logical stand point i myself have had a LOT of bad experiences.

Maybe i brought some of them on for example my story about mentioning the points hack.
That could be considered an "exploit" on their site that did not result in coins coming off their servers (they claim)
So i am saying had i kept my mouth shut about that i would have had less drama.
So in a way i brought that on myself.

But the incident really did happen and i ended up getting treated like crap..
because i told a true story.
And hey it's a good story LOL
The hacker claimed to have gotten something like 82 BTC or something hahaha

But in a way i don't feel bad because i have pleaded with them sooo many times.
Please respect your customers and keep people notified with some basic info.
That should be a high priority but it never has been.
And duh that will lead to disgruntled customer.. look around LOL

So it may seem like people are picking on them ..but nope they have it coming.
sorry Cryptsy guys but you made your bed.
it's not like this is the first time where people are pissed off left in the dark.
Here we go again..

EDIT:
I am surprised how high the poll votes are for "their gonna pull a gox"
What is going on ? i have no idea and i have not used them in a long time.

Where is smoke, most possibly something is burning. There is sure something scammy happening at Cryptsy. Lot of ppl are locked out their accounts (including me), lot of ppl have problems to withdraw their funds and all that cant be explained only with technical issues. So my best guess is to they will go full gox within months to comme if not before.

It's just an incompetent team with no customer service or any idea HOW to communicate. They simply grew to fast without proper guidance, which leads to a shortage in customer care specialist, vs an overkill on technical employees, I turned my back about one year ago, with their ridiculous termination of accounts policies, I check in whenever I want to, not whenever they need me to....

I don't know what is happening to Cryptsy but it is getting dangerous to trade with them after hearing many complaints about withdrawals.
I would withdraw all my coins from Cryptsy to be save.
