My spending habits are slowing down since I am more accumulating Bitcoins than actually spending them. But with Bitcoin black friday comming soon I will definitely spend some coins on interesting deals if I need them or if I can resell them for a profit. If there is nothing I need or I can resell, I won't buy anything.

I occasionally spend my coins so I picked Yes in the voting list. Usually I save my coins for pumps and convert to cash when that happens. Then buy back low and spend my earned money to live.

Bitcoins are used everywhere in the world, whether in large or small proportions. It is accepted by some websites also for payment. But, it is still not accepted in many retail stores. Reason?
Bitcoin is not used by each and everyone. They will only accept bitcoin when it's used by majority, which has still not happened.
So, i don't have any choice to spend them. Currently, i use it for recharges.

I mostly buy online with Bitcoin, use it for gaming to buy in game currency and from time to time to buy drink at one coffee shop near my place.
Its actually good to hear that they accept Bitcoin in coffee shop. Bitcoin is becoming the global currency. Bitcoin value will increase only if people spend some of the BTC. If everyone wants to hold Bitcoin there will be no circulation and BTC will decline.

for the few places that do accept bitcoin, do you currently spend the coins you hold at any of them?

I know places like www.takeaway.com accept bitcoin and i even heard CEX.co.uk accept bitcoin in stores now too, but does anyone spend the bitcoins they have or do most just onto hold them? (Or gamble them lol)

I wonder if there will ever be any retailers that only accept bitcoin.

Yep I actively spend my bitcoin, usually I cash it out then buy stuffs in real life and sometimes I use it to buy mobile load via coins.ph. I also do hold some but not as much as I spend.

Nowadays i do almost all of my groceries and other smaller purchases with bitcoin debit card. I can pay everything exept gasoline from automated gas stations by BTC. I´m also considering to have (part of) my salary and pay all of my bills by bitcoin. I just need to make sure i buy same amount or more BTC than i spend them monthly Smiley

Thats awesome, whats the rates like paying with a bitcoin debit? i imagined it would of been quite expensive, but i would love to be in that position, my HOPE is to have between 1-5 bitcoins in cold storage by the end of 2016 and up to 1btc in a hot wallet to spend when i need too which i hope to keep topped up to use whenever i need too.

There´s no extra costs or fees when paying with btc -debit card, only 1usd mothly maintenance fee. So far it has been working everywhere just like regular visa (debit) card. If you withdrawal cash from atm, then there is a few euro/usd fee but i personally rarely need any cash nowadays. Sure there are usually some fees when buying btc (to "load" card.) I can change euro to btc without any fees, so i only pay 1usd/month to use my btc card Smiley
I still have some coins i have bought with lower price than it is today, so i like to think it´s sort of free groceries for me Smiley But the main reason to use btc is to support btc economy.

Do you mean like buy a Bitcoin Jacket? or Buy a Jacket with bitcoin?

If its the latter, maybe a bitcoin card would be handy for you also, then you can buy any jacket with bitcoin =)

I am not aware of any retailer for clothing that accepts bitcoin, for hardware there are plenty of options.

But a little google search brought pleny of options:

I am following this strategy to "spend" my bitcoins (because in my opinion this is not a real expense, but an investment): I use to trade in forex my fiat money; when I need to withdraw money my brokers give me the option to withdraw it in BTC or dollars; when BTC is cheaper I whitdraw only BTC, and when BTC is high, I use to deposit into my trading account a good amount in bitcoins, this way I do a kind of beneficial exchange.
