I did try to keep my bitcoins intact as an investment... But then i discovered two great startups (interesting, both from my home country Slovenia), that let me pay for anything without worrying about my investment. Cashila https://www.cashila.com/Let's me pay bills using bitcoins. Works by converting bitcoins to EUR at the current exchange rate and paying for anything via SEPA. It's great if you are from the EU. Usually I use them when paying for my gsm bill, when i want to cash out bitcoin to my bank account, or i need to pay a friend, hehe. The other one is Reload by Bitnik https://reload.bitnik.eu/Keeps an eye for outgoing transactions from my wallet address and every time i make a purchase - it instantly buys the same amount from the exchange of my choice. Now i can freely spend my bitcoins on almost anything, and when i do, my btc balance stays the same. Give them a try and spend bitcoins whenever you can

Yeah, I do actively spend my bitcoins, and bitcoin will reach to a new level only if we keep on spending it, as only holding will not make bitcoin that popular in future, so we need to spend it actively.

if we keep our coins moving, thats a good practice so others may follow..As long as we are buying back, yes, we could help the price of bitcoin..

I agree with you. It must be spent even if it is small bits it must move. Keeping it wont get us anywhere. Thanks to the gamblers that is why it the price of bitcoin is always moving. They keep it in a flow.

for the few places that do accept bitcoin, do you currently spend the coins you hold at any of them?I know places like www.takeaway.com accept bitcoin and i even heard CEX.co.uk accept bitcoin in stores now too, but does anyone spend the bitcoins they have or do most just onto hold them? (Or gamble them lol) I wonder if there will ever be any retailers that only accept bitcoin. yes some of people really2 active spend their bitcoin, daily. i think in big city like NEw York or Rio,bitcoin is active spend on some daily activity, like pay coffee or buy food.

Yes in other places there are store that you can use directly your bitcoin disregarding the price volatility. It's good so that circulation in bitcoin technology will increase it's stats by transaction's volume.

To actively spend bitcoin I would first need to earn some xD

Yes but don't stay forever to that kind of state. There are lots of opportunities open to earn btc's. Think out of the box or much better if you get rid of the box.

Think the most people will prefer spending than buying. Have bought already 2 VPN licenses and lost a lot with a big scam so have to build again before I will invest or buy again something.

Yeah, I am more like spending than buying.
Nowadays, seems most people here were spending their bitcoins rather than buying like you because most people are earning bitcoins and prefer not to buy one. Especially bitcoins is now getting popular on third world countries where a lot of people were unemployed and earning bitcoins online is a big help

No, because I have been trying to get as much as possible while it's cheap as hell, and for me cheap as hell means anything under 4 figures a Bitcoin si an absolute steal, so im buying monthly with the idea of storing them for long term.
If they add them to Steam soon I may start spending some on that tho.
