That is true as of now bitcoins are not accepted in many places to buy items online but only few services we can buy using bitcoins. Mostly bitcoins are used in gambling purpose so if any one actively gambling then they may be actively spending. I also use to buy some digital products on this forum and never used to any service outside this forum. |

active spend bitcoin or not,it depend your own country,of course if my country or your country accept and many store on that country accept bitcoin,it will easy to spend your bitcoin daily,active as you use your money to pay your requierment,but the other way if bitcoin not accept in your country or in you town,it will hard to be spend your bitcoin,daily..

Well as for me I have a mining contract that provides the bitcoins I use to pay for website hosting, VPSs, etc.. Having a constant stream of side income really helps.
On the side note, I noticed that a huge chunk of merchants accepting btc are on e-commerce. That just shows how much work is still needed for brick-and-mortar adoption.

Im now looking to spend some bitcoins during the black Friday sale, but only if i see a really great bargain cause as of now there isnt really anything i have my eye on specifically and i don't want to spend a large amount in one go just cause.
I usually spend about £10-15 worth of btc every couple weeks but i may stretch my budget if the right deal is there.

Yeah, its better to spend few of them and rest keeping safe in wallet, I spend my bitcoins every week as I need money for my basic stuff, so every weekend I convert my few bitcoins to fiat currency and take care of basic expenses keeping my salary intact, but its always good to see higher price of bitcoins and sell at the right time. |

Well, to me it makes more sense to spend the coins that I have when the price is rising. And to hold the coins when the price doesn't seem to move much at lower levels. |

Obviously I will if I'm getting a good rate for my coins .I can possibly buy stuff from online shopping or buy other digital goods .Bitcoins is a nice way to make the payments as it involves less of a hastle compared to payment by credit/debit cards.

Well, to me it makes more sense to spend the coins that I have when the price is rising. And to hold the coins when the price doesn't seem to move much at lower levels. that's good thinking. Everything in the bitcoin economy falls when prices rise. So It would be wise to pour some into investments. If bitcoin crashes all the prices rise. |

In do the same. I had cashed out some coins just before the rally a few weeks ago. After that only when the price keeps stable. |

Honestly I miss the oppertunity to spend my bitcoin, since not enough shops are avaliable to spend my bitcoin.
Perhaps it's time to approach shops and ask them to accept them?.

Yes unless we don't speak up how they would come to know that we can make payments in bitcoins too.. Whenever we go for shopping we need keep on asking the same question do you accept bitcoins as a mode of payment? We know the answer would be BIG NO but it will make them to think that what is bitcoins all about and they would definitely start researching on it. |
