That is because most of the wins were from one people.

If I am not wrong last game is winning by people who deposit 0.1 and someone deposit 0.99 losing. It is possible that low deposit people will have this luck and high deposit people sometimes will lose too because it can really assure your winning though only boost your winning chance but still you can lose it sometimes

The main problem of pevpot is the lack of sponsors I think. As doog pointed out in https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1243970.msg13462421#msg13462421, running the site indeed incurs a loss every week.

Just a heads up. Someone has purchased pevpot.com from me, so after the current draw (#11) -- I will be transitioning it to them, where the addresses will change. =)

Check out gamblingsitefinder.com for a decent list/rankings of crypto casinos. Note: I have no affiliation or interest in it, and don't even agree with all the rankings ... but it's the only uncorrupted review site I'm aware of.

Although he got a loss every week as long as Rhavar can manage it well I dont think that is the main problem. And now pevpot will be change the ownership and I think it should not be a problem now anymore.

Btw congratz again for the new buyer and Rhavar succesfully manage a good game again

Do you vouch for this guy to continue to run the business ? Could you tell us who the new owner is? I would not like someone unknown to steal my deposits when im playing this game becaue this is not like dustdice where you have insurance that your money is safe with moneypot

Considering RHavar has a good reputation(and is a DT 2 member) , I don't think he would sell the site to any person that comes with a good deal.

That is why im asking him about who the guy that purchased it from him, is he trusted enough to run this site or could it be just another person trying to get some quick profit. Although this is not the right thread but im personally not happy with how the new team handle moneypot so im asking ryan about this new guy who purchase pevpot from him

Nice concept but i am little confused about the price of each ticket, it says to send more than 100 bits to get valid ticket but what will happen if i send 1000 bits, will i get 10 tickets? Sorry if this question is already answered above as i don't have time to scroll the whole thread.

You didn't read the OP clearly, did ya? Every satoshi sent is one ticket, although there is a minimum of 10,000 satoshi/tickets (100 bits) you can buy each transaction, probably to stop dust tx's.

For every satoshi you send, you get 1 ticket.

P.S. @ryan Do you currently have any projects you're working on? Your ideas are quite creative and unique, but it seems like you have a habit of selling them Grin (except for the case of BaB)

Player vs Player is always the best thing, because sometimes when we play against a site bankroll, we cant win it Wink . But I think when you play against a player, you can always compete. Curious to try out the site.

Is that someone dooglus? I saw in the previous page that he was interested in taking over. It would be a great news if so, as the biggest difficulty of running and promoting the site is that the owner has to be widely recognized as trustworthy.

I calculated the results of the 11th game and this was my findings:

Stretched Hash: 6e466cdd13cc80b1137addf46362bbe3714fc9bf7faef9aba930554d3e080ba5

Winning Ticket: 153066545
Winning TX: ecd8610c2ce3dd5fe7c23e0793d1a91dfa5d89561a69fafd20d893bbaefab85d
Prize: 1.59096084 BTC + 97.798% of the early bird bonus pool

Looks like cowbay again  Shocked

Can you confirm this is the correct result?

What a lucky man. IIRC, if cowbay wins again this time, he would have won 5 draws in total. If the game isn't provably fair, I am sure most people will suspect he is Ryan's alt account lol.

PevPot.com is a project that I've been working on for a few weeks now, and believe it to be the first of its kind. It's a provably fair lottery where players actually get more out than they put in. Or said more technically it's the holy grail of gambling: +EV

The way that it works is pretty simple, each draw is sponsored by a number of advertisers, who make this possible. 90% of the money the sponsors pay goes directly into the prize pot (we keep 10%). 100% of the tickets players buy go into the prize pot. For every satoshi you send, you get 1 ticket. And every 1000 bitcoin blocks (when it ends in 000) we draw a winner (in a provably fair way, of course).

For more details, please see pevpot.com.

(Also a big thanks to our sponsors who with only a couple hours notice helped make the first draw happen.

I look forward to your feedback. Please buy tickets, share with your friends and support our sponsors who make this possible!

Hi there, I hope you're ok with us doing an article on your product. We will in all likelihood reach out to you via email soon. Cheers and great idea!

If the calculation is correct, I would fully agree.

TBH I am pretty sure I calculated a different result yesterday, but I didn't have much time and it was late, so I might have made some silly mistake.

Will see what Ryan comes up with Tongue :X

Sorry, was out all day and forgot about the lotto. I'm running the verification now.

Do you vouch for this guy to continue to run the business ? Could you tell us who the new owner is? I would not like someone unknown to steal my deposits when im playing this game becaue this is not like dustdice where you have insurance that your money is safe with moneypot

To be honest, I don't know the guy. I had already released the code, and someone approached me for what basically amounts to the domain. I was originally going to keep the domain, just to avoid confusion. But it's hard to say no to free hundreds of dollars, so sold it is (I've already been paid).

Is that someone dooglus? I saw in the previous page that he was interested in taking over. It would be a great news if so, as the biggest difficulty of running and promoting the site is that the owner has to be widely recognized as trustworthy.

No, it's not. But he (and everyone else) has access to the code, so who knows what will happen

P.S. @ryan Do you currently have any projects you're working on? Your ideas are quite creative and unique, but it seems like you have a habit of selling them Grin (except for the case of BaB)

lol thanks =) But what can I say, I've got a short attention span. I think pevpot was my 5th bitcoin project, but my last bitcoin project for a while. I have some ideas for bitcoin projects I'd like to do, but feeling a bit burnout and disillusioned with  the general bitcoin community at the moment Tongue Right now I'm taking a break with running bustabit and working on something totally unrelated to bitcoin or gambling  Tongue

Check out gamblingsitefinder.com for a decent list/rankings of crypto casinos. Note: I have no affiliation or interest in it, and don't even agree with all the rankings ... but it's the only uncorrupted review site I'm aware of.
