Yes you are right, Most of people who do gambling for fun. they stake not too much money. I mean they don't risk a lot of money for only get pleasure. Usually they bet with a little amount and enjoy the bet. Even if they lose, there is no problem with that.  The essential is when you feel good.

Nope it is not the chasing losses that triggers addiction.  It triggers obsession.  I think you should better know the meaning of addiction.  What influenced it and what makes people addicted to something.  Researches already said that it is the hormone that is secreted in our brains that triggers the addiction.

Slightly confused to read your argument , i just can not see your point why gambling is so addicting.
I can tell that people get addicted to gamble no matter they have lost a lot of money is because the high return .
