Hello Cacingkemi, thank you for your suggestion. Odds @2 to @100 would restrict the options of our bettors.
If you see the bets of Webcreator, the winner of our last competition are very varied, and we don't want that to stop. Users should be allowed to use any strategy they like, so we can't limit minimum odds.

As for the rollover, please remember that only the contribution prize has been changed, and the prizes from our side competition remain with the same ratio. We would like to keep it that way, because those are very different type of prizes now, and all prizes related to directly to your performance in the competition, should be more rewarding.

SUGGESTION: why don't we have a fortnight  mini league after every main competition to accommodate the main competition on its own slot.

Well if they kept the regular schedule, the next competition would be on June, and on June there are no main football leagues as well, so it would be the same I guess.

Well most sports will go on break now as usual, so we decided to take a longer break. Waiting for August would be to much time, so a comeback on July seems like a good "middle option".

As for changes, we have no changes planned right now. We will have a longer discussion phase, so more time for you guys to offer suggestions.
Things seem to be working well right now, but we can of course take advantage of this longer break and try to get some good ideas for the next edition.

I never reached paid places from the main contest, but I like this competition
I prefer the side contest though, because for me it's easier to get some prizes there. I always liked bounty prizes, maybe you could integrate that in the side contest, but I still don't know how.

Why not add a "%" for top tipster from hall of fame?
I mean it's really hard as you can see win or get a placement in a competition like this.

I think tipster that have already won a large number of placement (e.g top 5 on hall of fame)
could get a small advantage (+0,1-5% like +13% for each bet settled).
Because a good tipster not have a good series of wins, but there is a really talent behind these win...
What do you think? Could be a valid solution/easy to set up?

maybe yes maybe not, but a second place is not forever.
Note that just few tipster have won more than one placement despite they play competition each month.
Even this could be a small bonus just for rewards people on top positions

About "unfair" advantage: this could be a little bonus (like a +1% to actually +13% for each bet settled).
This will not make any substantial difference. Just a small incentive to a smart tipster to place more bets.

The problem is like you already said, it is very hard to get into the Hall of Fame, so any small advantage, for those that are already there, will just make things even harder for those that are not.

We really wanted that being in the Hall of Fame, would be an incentive by itself, because it's hard, so it should give some credit to the tipsters that made it there.

Anyway, please feel free to make more suggestions. We still have plenty of time to get new ideas for the next edition!

Just saw the directbet announcement, is this the end of this competition?
If so, I would like to say that it was great participating, in the competition and betting at directbet.
It really got me by surprise, because they were by far the best BTC sportsbook for me, and now I will have to find another one :/

Yeah it's the end of an era. This is the second legit Bitcoin sportsbook I have seen close shop after the originator of all Bitcoin sportsbooks Bitbook went abruptly ofline. I think we will never know the real reasons behind this decision but my educated guess would be the rising transaction fees and long confirmations times which would put DirectBet's continuing profitable operation at risk. It's sad to see them go.

Glad to hear updates from you, I think this is the only other alternative to maintain this competition by finding new sponsors. But I still can not move on from directbet.
