Hello White sugar, the answer is no, but we will change the format hoping to be giving a step forward in this competition. We did not had to much feedback, but we think that going with option 1 is the way to go.

What we will try to do, is to use that option and the competition will assume that new format, but we will still try to get a sponsor for that option. They could throw in some coins to the pot, so the prizes would be more than just the players buy in (again like poker tournaments with added money).

Right now, we are working on the site, and at the same time working on a sponsor. We hope to get everything in order for August, or in worst case scenario for September. We will continue using this thread for updates, so if anything changes we will post it here as usual.

We can get a sponsor from a new sportsbook too , but it comes with the risk.
But as long as they can use escrow to hold the prize funds , i think it is fair enough . Isn't it?

That's the most likely scenario for now but there's still a chance that they could get a sponsor for this because the competition won't be starting after a few months still a lot of time. I'm starting to think that if someone would sponsor this competition it might turn to option 2.

Hello ralle14, things are already in motion so even with a sponsor we will still go for Option 1. We are already developing the site etc, so with a sponsor we will just get added money to the tournament.
