Bitcoin is better than paypal for online shopping because it's fast and easy to use with secured transaction.

For online purchase paypal is faster than bitcoin because you get instant the product after purchasing it, and paying by bitcoin you should wait from 1 to few confirmation then to get the product.
Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

What are your opinions on paypal or bitcoin for online shopping?

They're basically the same when you're only talking about shopping, both pp and btc via bitpay get confirmed instantly.
The main difference to buyer/holder is that paypal can limit your account and freeze your money, where with bitcoin that cant happen.

The difference though is that btc is sometimes in some cases much faster and more secure than PayPal. However, it depends on where, why and how you are using it. However, the bad thing is that BTC isn’t used as much as PayPal these days. I want to see more stores and online sites like EBAY accepting BTC. It would be a real change.

PayPal is accepted in more online stores at the moment. Both is the best option I guess.
True and there is the other difference of one being faster and secure than the other in some places and sites. I guess safety cant be guaranteed, but it is known that BTC is naturally more safer and faster than PayPal. It would be quite different when BTC gets accepted more in this modern world.

For now I choose paypal  since more store is accepting paypal rather than bitcoin. But if bitcoin became popular and lots of store will accept bitcoin then ill switch to bitcoin.

The comparison is not fair as one is a money processor and other is currency itself. As a money processor it has to take care of both parties interest.People complain about chargeback but isn't it comes handy when you are on the receiving end? I mean if a seller sold you something online which is not according to your expectations, you can get your money back by raising a dispute. With bitcoin once you send it,you can never get it back
its fair enough because they'd compared the security, fee, and service not the value itself

Of course bitcoin because;

1. Bitcoin doesn't limit your account for no reason.
2. You can send and receive as much as money you want.
3. You don't have to call support and wait for hours.
4. And more importantly you are sorta-kinda anon when you are sending money with bitcoin.

Bitcoin all the way. No questions about it. I mean seriously, you cannot even compare the two.

1. PayPal can be charged back. This is bad when you are small seller.
2. PayPal demands all kind of information.
3. PayPal can freeze and lock your account when they feel like it. Mine is currently limited for no good reason.
4. PayPal has higher fees.

Four very good reasons for me already to boycott PayPal. Like mentioned my account there is limited since last July and I have no intentions of solving and opening it anymore. I am just done with PayPal. Done. Keep my cents, keep my account. I don't need or want it anymore.

I do prefer bitcoin but seeing as that's not accepted yet in every online store, I use paypal for certain things.

I use bitcoin whenever I can.

Yeah that is true but I hope that it changes in 2016. BTC used in more shops would be nice to see and to use. It will be a change for us all. I hope the trend bar is going to increase in the following years.

If I'm buying stuff and if I can't use escrow then using paypal,
if I'm selling then Bitcoins for sure.
Well that’s a different way of dealing with things. I am guessing the reason that you use escrow and PayPal more is because they are currently accepted more in various online sites and various shops. I am using BTC for steam products and I am looking forward to see a change ( BTC being accepted more in shops).

yeah that is a good shoice but sometimes u are missing out on some great offers which can ony be payed by using PayPal. It is kinda frustrating, right. I know the feeling when you cant by everything with the system you wanted. Any like I said before, I want to see a change in 2016.

Seeing as bitcoin isn't accepted everywhere I prefer PayPal over bitcoin for now

If bitcoin gets more accepted I would sure use it more often as payment online and in stores.

So it will remain as it is. If you have no interest in bitcoin payments then there is no need merchants and services to introduce it either.
You could stick to the PayPal forever if you are so happy with this situation.

Centralized Vs. Decentralized

Any Paypal user, whether a buyer or a seller, will at some point run into issues with Paypal's centralized structure.  For instance, I am on my second Paypal account currently after my first account was frozen, and all attached cards and banks were banned from future Paypal use.  I had to create an entirely new bank account just to use Paypal due to arbitrary freezing of my first account.  Bitcoin, on the other hand, is decentralized and I am completely certain that nobody has the ability to limit my access to my Bitcoin wallet, or to move funds from my Bitcoin wallet.

Your $ in Paypal is just information stored and guaranteed by Paypal; likewise, your BTC in Bitcoin is just information stored and guaranteed by the Bitcoin protocol.  The difference is that Paypal can rewrite your balance at any time, and it usually isn't $92 Quadrillion in your favor.  Paypal is a centralized way to move money and the benefits of that are numerous: buyer and seller protection, chargebacks, etc.  However, the abuse of centralized systems such as Paypal, Visa, and Mastercard has caused the average merchant to tack on ~10% premium on their prices to deal with associated transaction fees, and exponentially increased risks of fraud.  This is the exact reason why most brick and mortar institutions will offer a cash discount, and also a Bitcoin discount should they chose to accept Bitcoin.

I see that most people are scammed in paypal deals but also in bitcoin but less. I consider bitcoin better than paypal in some cases and paypal better in some other cases(for fast deal and buyer protection)

paypal is good with refund system for buyer protection, but this system is bad for seller
sometimes buyer receive his digital good and try to refund his paypal transaction
