PIVX Network Upgrade Progress Update
61% (6594) of past 10800 blocks are version 5 (3.2.0) at time of this post.
We need this to go over 95% for zPIV to be re-enabled safely.
So if you are staking with an older wallet, please upgrade to 3.2.0 asap!!
P.S. You can check status via getblockchaininfo from console.

30% is a huge figure to reach safely zPIVX.
I don't know why there are so many guys have not upgraded therit wallets to the newest version.
I am also surprising because they should realize that they got fake staking rewards on wrong chain by keep running old wallet version.

While migrating from v3.1.1 to v3.2.0 this message occurs: "ZerocoinSupply Recalculation failed: xxx vs yyy". Therafter the wallet terminates. What can I do? I'm working on ubuntu linux 16.04.5 LTS.

Try simply restarting it. I've heard that works and that error can be ignored for now.

Similar problem here with Win 7. It's recalculating zpiv when wallet crashes.

It seems I've got it running again. I installed and synced a full wallet in ubuntu linux 18.04.2 LTS, then transfered my wallet from the old system. It did some rescans on the wallet and is running fine for now.

Can not get wallet working on windows (7 nor 10).
Always crashes at the block 908000 (recalculating minted&spent zpiz, piv supply).
I tried to reload the chain etc. and also with bootstrap but same issue.
Any ideas what to try next?

Veil was founded with a different focus...... That's not to say that PIVX can't have similar goals, but.....it falls upon the PIVX network to decide and vote on these goals."

So what is Veil's different focus?  What will people be using PIVX for and what will Veil be used for, 10 years from now?

Good job on the update!

I forked off once on day 1 of the new wallet, but hopefully won't happen frequently.

I found this topic, and thought that it might become one of the most comprehensive, and interesting topics for PIVX discussions.
Discussion of PIVX: Community and its future
Someone who have been PIVX investors, and have interests to become PIVX investors, should join it to get information, as well as help others if you have enough skills to help and if you want.

What is requirement amount to get any block reward at last once a week approximately from staking? :-)

And my second question can you provide any comparison between privacy-focused coins (with ZEC/XMR/Dash/NAV/Komodo/XSPEC etc.)?
I am going to invest some money in this sector - but really need to do good insight before :-)

I am looking for signature campaign Wink pm me

exactly the same issue in 2 different setups, win7 and win10.
ignoring the errors results always to wallet crashing!

i have the same problem in win10. i managed to find a workaround.

1. first backup wallet.dat,pivx.dat,masternode.dat files as many times as possible Wink
2. uninstall and delete all pivx files.
3. download 3.1.1 and 3.2.0 windows wallet versions.
4. first run pivx wallet qt version 3.1.1 until it passes block 908000. then stop wallet and run version 3.2.0
(mine stopped at 920000)
5. after all blocks are downloaded stop pivx wallet and replace the newlly created wallet.dat,pivx,dat,masternode.dat
with the backup ones. then rerun wallet 3.2.0 and let it recalculate everything.
hopefully it will not crash anymore.
hope it helps Smiley

What is the yearly yield of staking Pivx?
About 5% per annum.
Approximately 2000 coins are steak once a week, 2 PIVX.
About 8 coins per month.
Or about 100 coins per year.
But difficulty changes, people even with such profitability continue to keep coins in a stake.

How do you have 6 PIVX per day with 1 mn?
3 PIVX  about once a day from the block.
