Don't write the governments off like they don't know what Bitcoin is. They are very well aware of what Bitcoin is and how it works, and that they and their corrupted mafia banks are completely outruled. It's not for nothing that certain countries hold a defensive/aggresive stance against Bitcoin. In case of China, they absolutely hate everything that allows people to move wealth from their country to another. Bitcoin is perfectly suitable for that job, and that's exactly why I don't believe China will ever approach Bitcoin in a friendly manner.

Its not to say that they dont know about bitcoin or understand it. Is that they can only do so much about the decentralized movement. When decentralization starts to really catch on (exchanges, marketplaces, anonymity) they will have less and less power.

The kicker is sooner or later tax revenues will plummet. Stop for a minute and imagine the consequences of that.

It's not Money and hopefully never turn into Money. The way it Works is much better compared with Money.
IN some aspect, we can still consider bitcoin as a type of money, an online money. Moreover, many platforms and stores have accepted Bitcoin as a payment method. No matter how you want Bitcoin not to become money, it is now being turned into a real type of money

Anything that is being used as a medium of exchange is money. Bitcoin, like gold, is money.

That's right. Because if we are talking about bitcoin, we also talking about money. Bitcoin is another type of currency in which, we can also convert it into philippine money. Similar to the dollar, bitcoin can also buy and sell.
Agree, and this currency gives up opportunity to make more money because of volatility of value. Even we do not have real paper money or coin bitcoin can be used to buy and sell some of the products we have by using online transaction. We should treasure this currency because bitcoin will help us to make rich someday.
yes there no doubt about this that bitcoin is money itself. in fact bitcoin can be use both for online as well as for offline purposes. in fact in present time most of the online shops are accepting bitcoin for online purposes. while in some places bitcoin is also using as fat currency for shopping n our local shops but due to lack of bitcoin users these facilities are available in such places only where the users of bitcoin are more.

Bitcoin is perfectly suitable for that job, and that's exactly why I don't believe China will ever approach Bitcoin in a friendly manner

Essentially the same can be said in respect to Russian government

Some people who are completely unfamiliar with the lay of the land in Russia and who have heard it in Internets that the Russian government is about to start regulating Bitcoin as a sort of "financial product" are going wild with joy as though that meant anything good to Bitcoin. Russia simply can't ban Bitcoin right now since quite a lot of influential countries either openly expressed their support to Bitcoin (Switzerland, Japan, Australia, etc) or show overall friendly attitude toward it (the US and EU, for example), so it is a no-op for them. But this doesn't mean that they won't try to regulate Bitcoin up to a point where it is no longer usable by ordinary people (at least, not in a legal way)

why chian should pose a stance agaionst this when other country in asia are not doing the opposite? i mean in japan with bitcoin you could do the same you can move your wealth outside of japan, but still the government accepted it as a currency

you are forgotting that bitcoin allow also the contrary, to move money from abroad to your country, and i suspect this is the reason why japan decide to allow bitcoin, it can increase the income money

i see bitcoin as a way for country to help each other, by moving funds where are needed

Exactly, the faster the transaction it will grow the economy of a certain country because there will be less boundaries that will hindrance success.
Now that japan has recognized and accepted bitcoin, it will triggered a positive market for the entire crypto currency because this success of bitcoin will benefit the alts also, just recently the XRP is surging and I believe Japan has some big contribution to it.

Uh-oh, it kinda looks you are neither from China nor Japan

I know that you are from Italy, so it is forgivable that you might not know the history. Japan and China are likely the worst enemies that nations could ever be. And thus it shouldn't be completely ruled out that Japan accepted Bitcoin as a means of payment specifically to spite China. Apart from that, I don't see a lot of reasons why countries should be helping each other when they are in fact more often than not competing between themselves (and sometimes even fighting and killing their folks)

Do not spend your bitcoin too much because it will not help you rich but it will help you to become poor. If you want to have a lot of money and also have a power to buy the things that you want then you should hold your bitcoins for long term because that is how you will earn money and also get a power to buy more things than now.

It is not all about how long you hold your bitcoins. Because there are bitcoiners who are very wise on managing their coins and also how they spend it. All this time nothing can change my mind to treat BTC as money.
It is profitable indeed, either you have a small or large amount and that is the best thing I like.

This type of money is very risky if we will consider it as money, it is not subject to inflation unlike the real money controlled by the government but this  one may rise or drop its value because it is also considered as investment by the many. I have bitcoins and I am fully satisfied with its usage but most of my usage in bitcoin is just for online transaction and for investment purposes.

For me, bitcoin is only a tool for making money, not real money. I can feel it in my hand, but I can make good money with it.

I disagree with you. Bitcoin is not money. Bitcoin is much more than money. It functions as a payment system and a good investment object. But, if you greatly simplify, you can call it money.

I believe that the statement: "bitcoin is new kind of money" passes the duck test.

Bitcoins function as money (they're a unit of account, a medium of exchange, and a store of value), and if PayPal started allowing Bitcoin transactions tomorrow I'm certain they'd treat them as Just Another Currency.

If you like, call it a commodity, but I think all you'll accomplish is confusing potential users who might think they'll end up getting pork-bellies delivered to their porch if they don't get rid of their bitcoins.

I also believed in the perspective of bitcoin on being a new kind of money. Because in terms of value and price bitcoin does have a better price rate than fiat. And bitcoin as a crypto-currency makes it as a more develop currency on transaction and investments. So in conclusion bitcoin is a new trend money making it as a more suitable on investments and transactions.

Bitcoin currency is a really life changing for people who used to transact with paypal wherein I found it didfficult to deal with since anytime, they might lock your account for unsuspicious transaction though it's in legal terms. We are very thankful tha bitcoin is there to avoid those hindrances where in we don't need to worry about our account since we can transact how many times and how much we want.

Yes, bitcoin is not exactly ordinary money. With him you can earn very well and pay off on the Internet, but there is a risk of using such money.

that is truth. Bitcoin is the future of technology and it will help us to maintain everything on the internet and we will no longer need to send money in the physical way. Therefore, life will be much easier
