tl;dr: OP is a special snowflake that has difficulty facing the world outside their safe-space. Has anyone considered calling in their prescription to CVS and have their vagisil mailed to him in India? Maybe that would cut down on the drama a little bit

You are attempting to make it seem that I am suggesting that a forum is reliant for the success of Bitcoin. I never said that.
It just seems like an excuse for people to continue on with the way they function in this forum. What I did mention was that it could help the reputation of Bitcoin for some if we could better the reputation here.
That's hard to disagree with but I'm amazed this place isn't more toxic than it is when you combine disruptive tech, scamminess, anonymity, scepticism and the potential financial stakes. Strife and drama will always be a feature of something of this nature and respecting others, or the total lack thereof, will forever be a casualty. This joint is just a reflection of human nature. You and I must venture to the deep confines of this forum so that you may see what is really brewing up.

That's incorrect in my humble opinion.
There's a lot of places on the internet where people congregate and talk about Bitcoin, this one being only one of a few. Even if this forum went to shit and/or shut down, people would just move to a different site and continue as they were previously. This forum is insignificant on the future of Bitcoin because of this, same as a forum about the Russian Ruble would be insignificant on the progress of the Ruble its self. That's incorrect to me. This is the most popular forum for Bitcoin, created directly by Satoshi with half a million users registered. Yes and the news are also watched by millions of people yet when they say killing or raping is bad, guess what, killing and raping still happen because people who do those things don't give a shit, same concept applied here I don't want to assume anything here, so I will just ask. Are you implying we're never going to reach some sort of humble and civil compromise? We are a tech savvy forum. We are one of the most intelligent people on the internet. I am sure we can come together at some point. I just don't know when. It has to be soon though, because 6 years has already passed us by. I'm not sure if trolling or serious.

I cannot speak for Mr. Gr33k, but I do believe he's dead serious. His age as per profile info is 22. Don't know about anyone else here, but I was overemotional and supersensitive at that age and thought I could influence people a lot more than I actually could. Now I'm an old troll. Life just did not turn out the way I thought it was going to.

The definition of a troll is someone that posts deliberately offensive comments to get offended reactions. I do not believe I have done that in this post. No matter. If you are offended by me, just ignore me I suppose. I'm not hurting anyone.

People these days. Am I right. Why do we have to do this to each other? We should all come together to make a stronger and happier Bitcoin community. Stop campaigning against each other and instead join forces.

I'm gonna throw this in the "people on board" list if you don't mind. Thank you kindly.

Has that ever happened anywhere in the world? No, there is always going to be at least 1 crazy person that fucks up everything. People have different opinions even if one of them is the correct one, the other part thinks their opinion is the correct one and so on..

It has taken very little effort, but a ton of time to actually come to that conclusion.
