the title says most of the question...

What altcoin do you have of most value, or is your favorite...
This can mean you hold a lot of it, you use it for a lot of your transactions comparing to other coins, etc

You can choose multiple coins, just explain why you think it's the best coin in your possession Smiley

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

I would pick ETH. Many people said that it will go to its IPO price but I feels that ETH is currently forming the bottom before going up again.

Nxt is definitely a sleeper. There's a lot of hidden value behind that token. A lot of which isn't visible to the naked eye.

I'll keep my eye on eth as well however, I'm a bit disappointed with the launch capabilities of that coin.

Monero because:
1) Adaptive blocksize limits together with a tail emission solves Bitcoin's 1 MB maximum blocksize / cannot scale issue.
2) Ring signatures solve Bitcoin's fungibility (coin taint) and privacy issues.

Concerned that blockchain bloat will lead to centralization? Storing less than 4 GB of data once required the budget of a superpower and a warehouse full of punched cards. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/87/IBM_card_storage.NARA.jpg https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Punched_card

Bitshares, still I must admit price movement couldn't be worse. So there's plenty of room for growth.

Monero.

Has a great community and work ethic. Fairly launched and probably the best technology since Bitcoin itself.

It's a kind of blindness that reason alone cannot cure.
