It highly depends on the type of trader.
Short term traders buy and sell constantly to make profits while a long term holder just buys at a certain price and keeps holding it till it reached the price he is waiting for.
If you haven't bought any coins yet, then I will recommend you to do it right now before you end up buying at +$500 prices.

If you haven't bought any coins yet, then I will recommend you to do it right now before you end up buying at +$500 prices.
I am a long term holder. I bought some bitcoin in 2013,2014 and 2015. I did not sell the coins. I just used some. |

Right now its still better to buy if you ask me because the price is now still pretty okay to buy and this will change soon or later because of the fact the bitcoin is growing and the halving that is coming this year.

Those who have been holding till now will most likely keep holding their coins till the block halving as we are almost there. If you sell now you may very well regret it as the price is more likely to go up the coming weeks. |

There are going to be a lot of people who are going to start holding their Bitcoins now, and we are seeing this with the price. It is slowly inching upwards, and this is a great thing for all of us. The halving will hopefully amplify the value in the future, and I am certainly holding my Bitcoin to see where everything goes. I think the halving will be an incredibly profitable event. |

My opinion is save your bitcoins now, actually i have only one reason for save the bitcoin, because of halving, i think everyone should use it and get profit. |

Since the last peek of 500 USD few weeks ago, the value is stable around 350 USD.
Its changing on hourly basis, we saw it again 3 days ago.
What do you think need to be done now, lets take 10 BTC as example.
Sell the 10 BTC for the current value - as the price is going to crash
Keep the 10 BTC and fund t buy another 10 - as the price is going up soon
What do you think ?

The closer we come to $500, the lower your pre-block halving "pump" increase will be, but people don't realize that for some reason. I can already see threads like "Is it better to buy now or wait a bit more" pop up when the price is reaching $550-$600 at some point.  Noobs keep always waiting. |

i think that now it is pretty good moment to buy, because of halving, price is huge now ( 460$ ) but compared what price there will be after halving, it is worth to buy bitcoins now and i don't think that you should sell your coins even if price rises now, you will get small profit now only, better to wait for halving and sell then, because then you will get lots of profit |

Holding will give huge profit if the number of bitcoin the user have is high. If user has one or two bitcoin then waiting is not the best thing. Its better to try to multiply the bitcoins. |
