Yeah I have the same feeling that price will be around $600 at the time of halving, so better keep engaged yourself in collecting as much as you can.
$600 in July is possible. That is about 2 months away. We just need the price to rise 60 dollar each month. At the moment it is best to hold on to your coins because we do not know what is going to happen after the halving but if you have bought for cheap then you can sell right now to make a profit. I am just going to wait for after the halving the I will decide what I am going to do. we are after the halving and days have past it  i think this stable price is a good point to buy bitcoin becasue it has been resisting the dumps very well so far and this can be the launch pad for the next big rise that can very well be moon. |

The bitcoin price is very stable recently. It is trading between $500 to $750 for some time, good for the future price rise. |

Guys,
Since the last peek of 500 USD few weeks ago, the value is stable around 350 USD.
Its changing on hourly basis, we saw it again 3 days ago.
What do you think need to be done now, lets take 10 BTC as example.
Sell the 10 BTC for the current value - as the price is going to crash
Keep the 10 BTC and fund t buy another 10 - as the price is going up soon
What do you think ?
i think that it is neither right now as price is very stable now, and it is too small to sell bitcoins yet too large to buy them, but this is my opinion only |

The bitcoin price should rise in the next few years when more people start to use it, so it is better to buy now. the price will rise slowly throughout the years. a lot people may not even notice the growth as they focus too much on peaks and stuff. these people will also be the first to start complaining that the price didn't go up much, while in fact the price has gone up like 50% if you look at the longer term charts. that's however something they don't see. |

I think it is good time to buy some bitcoin now. The price has dropped over 30% from the recent peak of $789. I think for me its not the best to buy right now because we dont know if the hackers from bitfinex still holding a lot of bitcoin.. and i think the price of bitcoin will be decrease again soon.. better to wait more weeks to see that the price still not decrease and buy after clarification.. |

Just saw it at $720 before all the halving took place then after the bitfinex hack dropping to nearly half that much at $420.  It has been a rollercoster ride to say the least in the last month or so.  |

I know the thread is a bit old, but we may be on a crucial moment for this year's evolution of the Bitcoin price.
Because of the Bitfinex disaster we had a dip under the important mark of $550 (and even 500). But it did not last long. In my opinion it got so deep because the bid order books of the other USD exchanges (BTC-E and Bitstamp, mainly) were not able to manage the selling pressure after the bad news. That was a bit similar to the situation in April 2013 when MtGox halted trading after the crash from 266 to ~120 and Bitstamp dropped to USD75.
If there had been another USD-based exchange with a similar volume than Bitfinex, the dip would have been less important.
So the mark may have been broken or not - that's the question. We must wait how the market reacts in the following weeks. Fundamentally, the Bitfinex hack is bad news for the Bitcoin community, as it's another drawback for the trust in the project. So I think despite of the bullish last 48 hours, price may turn down again soon.
