Today? Hmm let's see. A couple more hours before the clock struck 12 again, and we need some sort of a miracle for this to happen. i think we'll be quite stagnant on these levels and some small decreases and rebounds before we keep going to rise.

That's way too optimistic of a look at the price.  The last times we were heading up we found resistance first at 475, then at 465, and finally at 425.  It's going to take a hell of a lot of work to bust through all of those points, and if we do hit 500 so many people are going to sell their gains as fast as they can.  I think we'll be seeing a nice little price raise through the coming time, but I'm not so sure we'll be heading for anything close to 500 for quite a while.

Well from what we've seen with BTC I think we can't really say that $500 is entirely impossible for the week. Although IMO it's a little bit too soon to be of value, as it might tank immediately.

Impossible is a word I've learned to never use in crypto, but it doesn't seem realistic to predict a price that has multiple large resistance points before it.  If we manage to get there and hold we may as well end up starting the next bubble to 1k

$415 is the upper limit of the horizontal channel ($350-415) we are currently in. we need some important news (positive or negative, although positive direction is preferred due to halving) to move out of this channel. for now, nothing happened, meaning we return back to the middle line of the channel, around $380.

There won't be big rise due to halving, if there are no fundamental developments to improve the adoption around these dates as well.
Without that, we will just see one pump, similar to that in November. I wouldn't count on more on halving alone.

But when block reward goes half, we need to consider the user base and many other factors also.
On first halving, bitcoin was not that much popular and the prices where under $20. But this time, it is totally different. There are large number of user base and merchants. All the above we need consider the hash power and difficulty levels because these are the factors directly proportional to block rewards.

stupid comparison ever, this argument is super moot, last tiem it was from 50 to 25, it was still overkill in terms of profit for miners, that why nothing big happened

The halving won't bring anything substantially. Also it's in the future.
Let's focus on these coming months. There is still no solution for block size so expect the price to go down again.

the upcomming block halving makes people interested and speculate about the price going up. i think if we look at the comming year then the majority of the people feel that the price will go up instead of down.

it will be difficult to get the new ath (I understad that is what you mean wi the next top), if there is only halving on the table for 2016. Halving can get us to $500-600, but not beyond that. We need something more that would increase the adoption and cause new users to move into Bitcoin.
