I think there is no fundamental difference between 700 and 800. For the big whales, they can manipulate it easily.

I think there is no fundamental difference between 700 and 800. For the big whales, they can manipulate it easily.

prices often seem to test values at where they historically got stuck at.

prices that acted as support or resistance n the past are more likely to act as support or resistance later.

'funny numbers' as well as round numbers are usually pretty strong support/resistance too.

for example 420 and 666.

so expect the price to bounce between 666 and 700 when we go into that range. Unless we have enough momentum to shoot right though those numbers the price will likely bounce between those two values for days or weeks.

There are many (wet) dreamers in this forum, seeing the price of Bitcoin in four or even five digit territory just because of halving. This is not gonna happen, unless we change the fiat currency we are talking about. I suggest to switch the price forecasts to Zimbabwean dollars, in case someone gets disappointed with the halving effect.

To be realistic, I do not think the price will be $1000 just because of the halving. It depends on the usage of bitcoin.
