It all depends on different taste of different user. Some might want yup use bitcoin daily some might want to store in cold storage so for various purposes we have various options.

True and aside from that the geographical locations also take high percentage for users who decide on what bitcoin wallet are they going to you. The better service in their place would be used of course than those lesser service for their place

From what I have heard you need to make a new address with every transaction. Something I am not doing but a lot of people are. If you are in need of many addresses having multiple wallets is a must. I use webwallets but also the bitcoin client for example.

But I do see a single person using many different types of wallets. I believe that must be differentiating a wallet for different purposes. Having more option is always good then why not we should have more wallets. But having similar type of wallet is not good like having many online wallets.

They're each bringing different functions to the table. Some are more secure than others. Nothing wrong with having several free products to choose from.

It's much better to use a new Bitcoin address for each transaction when you care about privacy and stuff. It's not a necessity. Another point, if you want to make use of many addresses at the same time, then you don't need to use different clients in order to get the job done. Bitcoin core allows you to have plenty of addresses that you can operate from at the same time.

Yeah that is true. But the problem is if we use a wallet that had been compromised by someone then that something very dangerous when we are still using the wallet. Indeed it is better we have some security funds so that bitcoin wallet we a little assured and will be less likely the hackers do action

If you are running everything on a clean (malware free) pc, and then you create your secured wallet file containing all these addresses, then you don't have to worry about hackers at all. That's why you as person should always make sure you work on a clean pc. Better safe than sorry.

Just wondering why people use so many Bitcoin wallets.
it is because the multiple wallet users want pruvacy of thier transaction . but here i think there is no need to use multiple wallet . new updated version of blockchain provides us a better privacy . where no one can trace that how much btc goes on transaction at the particular adress .

People like to diversify their funds so it only makes sense to have them divided into seperate places where you can draw from when the time comes it is needed.

I think it works so that all the money they do not gather in one place only. you know all things at risk? as well as the bank or the wallet
so to minimize the risk on the wallet. You can divide your bitcoin in many places. certainly it would be safer

That is the approach to improve the security of your bitcoins, you will spread your account so if one wallet will be compromise your entire money will not be gone and you can still continue to use the others for your activity.

I don't understand what the ending sentences of your refer to, and why having a similar wallet is not good?every wallet is having their own advantages and I don't that is will become a bad thing. the similiar wallet is not meant they are same in every characteristic.

i personally using only one but i think people us it because there have some more bitcoins and they use different bitcoins wallets for security reasons. so that some one may not hack their bitcoin wallet key.
I think if you copy your wallet's private key and save it somewhere offline then you don't have to worry about being hacked.
I personally use some few addresses because I have to receive payments and don't want to make the sender's know who sent me how much.

protect yourself at all cost, on this case your coins. just having one wallet is very risky as you can lose all of them at once. there's no harm in having a back up storage

I am also protecting my coins by dividing it into different wallets. And aside from that, you can also minimize use of online wallets because they are more prone to hack attacks. Store most of your coins to a few cold wallets and use only online wallets for bitcoins you will use or spend more often.
Are not confusing what wallet you send it ? because if you are using multiple wallet there are reasons why right ? coz i can't handle two or more bitcoin wallets even the bitcoin wallet i use is not safe but it doesn't mean that this will can hack soon by attackers or etc because this is easy to use where i can easily sell and buy bitcoin.

Wallets are different from address. If you want to stay anonymous, then you should use different address for every transaction that you make. A single wallet can have different address, you do not need to have multiple wallets to create different addresses.

Just wondering why people use so many Bitcoin wallets.
Keep everything in one wallet is very dangerous. Especially for conducting financial transactions with other users should be better m another purse and not m the same. For safety.
