maybe they made a lot wallet to make a lot of clone accounts as well .. Maybe your right since i seen i thread before in this forum that has many alt accounts but they are still trace because of transactions.. For me i just use one wallet i am using electrum because i think this is the most secured wallet that i experience than online wallets. |

Actually i am not the one who is using many bitcoin wallets at a time.Yes i do have registered with different wallets to check the features of those but mostly i am using only one wallet that is block.io because it is very simple with no complications and the second one is blockchain.info wallet for me.

People use several wallets for similar reasons that you use different credit or debit cards, you may have a stash wallet where you have your savings in bitcoin, you may have a wallet to receive payments, a wallet in your desktop, phone, maybe an online wallet so you can access it anywhere, there a lot of reasons to have several wallets.

people have so much money so they fear to store all money in a single wallet, because if one gets hacked them other wallet will survive. but poor fellow like me usage only one wallet that too empty. like 0.01 btc only i have in my wallet. so hacking my wallet is worthless.

Peopple uses more than one wallet and that is becuase i know for sure that lots of people want to put their money on one bank you also have more than one bank account for your dollars so bitcoin usrs also.
you are right, it is put into a lot of wallets to be honest and it is really safe in this way i think |

you are right, it is put into a lot of wallets to be honest and it is really safe in this way i think Not to safe it is just lessen the risk of your money, putting money in different bitcoin wallet is good we can double or triple our income on it and also some bitcoin wallet do not like to received income came from gambling that is why users find a way to cash out their money and the way is to have other bitcoin wallet. |

those who have more amount they only usage multiple wallet to secure their account if they ever get hacked. all with digital one can't take risk of keeping high amount in just one wallet so they distribute their money in various wallet. also sometimes due to compulsory user are forced to use other wallet.

I think as well it's a security thing why some people use so many wallets.
I must say I have just 5 of them I actually use.
And I already have trouble with those to manage...
I think it can be a very tricky job to keep the overview, all the passwords and addresses.

There are many reasons for using multiwallet. The first things is to be more secure. When you are holding a large amount of money, the best way to avoid losing all your money is to divided them into many part and hide them in different places in your house or banks. Secondly, each wallet has a different system and they use each wallet for different purposes |

that's like why you have so many bank account ?  for me diffirent wallet can make my management of money more easy, use xapo for daily usage, jaxx for trading, and paper wallet for hok=lding in long term. |

I use my main bitcoin wallet on my phone that usually is empty, I only send bitcoin to this address and then send it to other wallets. I use my main wallet on both my pc and phone and I also use xapo occasionally because they offer zero fee transactions.

Because they want to put their bitcoin in a safest place. Even me I have a multiple bitcoin wallet that I used, which are bitcoin core, multibit hd, and I used some of the bitcoin exchanges wallet too. |

i have 3 bitcoin wallet now its make me easy to maintain my bitcoin to make me easy to use when i am mobile and not always must open PC and especially for security puprose |

I don't even know why they used so many Bitcoin wallets. Maybe for safety? Even myself,maybe i would prefer to use many bitcoin wallets to make sure my bitcoins are safe. And i dont even said that one bitcoin wallet is not safe, but many bitcoin wallets are safer than one. the main reason is security and privacy. especially when people operate on several platforms. i personally use one wallet for a few weeks before i delete it and work with a new one. that's for privacy purposes. i like to keep things seperated. |
