Why do people use so many Bitcoin wallets?

Maybe right Maybe theres are really something reason why people are using bitcoin multiple wallets because some of bitcoin wallet they don't want there services are receiving bitcoin from any gambling website this is one of the reason and thats the reason why they are creating another bitcoin wallet/

How mistaken you are dude, there are many people in the world that have different bank accounts, does that means they are a bunch of criminals? Of course not there are many reasons to have several bank accounts and the same applies to bitcoin.

You will feel realize about owning more than 1 wallet at your money are got a lose in 1 bucket. tell me the proof if the people are have more than 1 wallet are already linked into the illegal activity or that is just your assume, dude.

People use various Bitcoin wallets so they can get multiple identities online. Most people that use this don't want to reveal their main account or atleast their alt accounts. They don't want those accounts to get a connection. Some people just want to have a backup wallet, just in case their main wallet gets hacked or gets a problem. I do have two wallets because the first wallet that I have doesn't support all the necessary stuffs for Bitcoin.

yeah of course there are some people who use one wallet only, like my friend he only has one wallet or purse desktop that is electrum he said that the wallet is very safe and it took him only one wallet alone and it makes it simple

I use three different wallets and I think it depends on how quick and how secure you want your wallet, I use core, Electrum and Multibit and Each has it's own advantage regarding how quick, or safe it is, Multibit is in between therefore the default wallet I use.

Multibit is quite ok to me recently as I am used to store my bitcoins on local exchanges. I am fond of trading and my bitcoins is scattered among different exchanges. I used also electrum before but it takes time to access, maybe its worth a try again.

With a lot of online wallet it is still advisable because online security now have already improve, we have 2FA so we do not worry with our account online, just keep yourself updated with the recent technology in protecting our bitcoins.

We must have a plenty numbers of wallet where we can keep our money in a safety mode. Less worry. Hackers wouldn't traced the address so easily if we are using many different address and we don't stick to only one.
For instance, if our account is being hacked by someone then we won't gonna lose all of our money.

In this  case, having  multiple wallets would  do if you posses large amounts of bitcoins  but still useless if  you store it on  web wallets  its better to store on pc or hardware wallets . some people do have  multiple wallets depending on their  transactions  and interest.

I think not masalh save your bitcoin wallet online, I think-many online wallet can be fairly safe, because I've never heard of an online wallet to be a scam? let me know if that ever happened, so it has a lot of online wallet that was not a problem and I think still it will increase the security in your wallet

I think that the main reason for having different accounts is functionality, different wallets give to you different capabilities, maybe you have a hardware wallet to store your coins but it’s probably not something that you want with you all the time, so you have a wallet in your phone to spend while on the move.

Well i do use 5 wallet adress, all from blockchain.info, because each adress has a source of income or is used to pay something specific, im lazy to make a note at each transaction i got or make, soo those adress take care all the things.

Yeah for me i stay in one wallet for now because i already experience the good things about this wallet than online wallet.. as of now never made any problem in electrum only for sign message before but it fix right now.. and i think its more safe to save more bitcoins in electrum just i always save my private keys and password and seeds, to backup it once electrum are gone i can install my private keys to other wallet..

I use multiple wallets because of the security that you get from the off-chance that your private key gets found, as well as keeping my Bitcoin spread out so I'm not keeping all of my eggs in one basket. Some is placed in exchanges, some in online wallets, some in desktop wallets. Nothing too insane and a lot of it is pretty standard from what I've heard on the forum.
