It is something unreal to bitcoin would be 10.000$. And if it happen and many people will try to fiat in the same moment - collapse is possible. And probably not just collapse, economy crashing as well. It's gonna be new the bladder.
A few years ago, I thought it would be impossible for the bitcoin price to be over $100. Now the price is $500. I think the bitcoin price will rise to $900 by the end of the year if there is no bugs in the SegWit programme. |

Nope, cause bitcoin and fiat is two other sides and fiat is not depending on bitcoin but bitcoin is depending on fiat, a bit strange but it's true.
Yeah, but I think the trend is this dependency decrease over time. |

A few years ago, I thought it would be impossible for the bitcoin price to be over $100. Now the price is $500. thats right, i think right now it is possible that bitcoin will grow even more easily, and maybe even replace all the fiat in a few decades |

A few years ago, I thought it would be impossible for the bitcoin price to be over $100. Now the price is $500. thats right, i think right now it is possible that bitcoin will grow even more easily, and maybe even replace all the fiat in a few decades LOL! that's too ambitious, replacing all the fiat will bring so much trouble to the world as not all can comprehend the procedures in using bitcoin, I think bitcoin is only for limited users and only those people who understand its concept, people who does not know how to use computer are not counted anymore so it is not everyone. |

I don't agree with that statement, fiat will never worthless even each bitcoin is worth $10.000, but if this will happend I think just many country, many store that will accept bitcoin, but still fiat will never worthless IMO.

Yeah, but I think the trend is this dependency decrease over time. Yeah exactly, we can't what is going to happen in the future. But the people are used to use fiat for a long time ago and regardless the value of bitcoin. Fiat money will always be there as a lot of people doesn't still have an idea of what bitcoin really is. But I hope the price of bitcoin is going to reach that $10,000 at all and I will happy if that happens. |

No i don't agree, fiat money will not be affected by bitcoin
But if bitcoin price is more than 10000$ its mean you just have more money to spend it

Exactly, since Bitcoins value is based on fiat then it wouldn't really affect at all. If Bitcoins price would go higher then fiat would also increase its value for sure and take note Bitcoin depend on it. It's not possible that fiat would be useless even price would go to the moon the story would be still the same. Fiat been used already for how many centuries passed and it would hardly to remove it's worthiness. |

It doesn't matter about flat if bitcoin price rises up in the future , if flat is up other flat is up too. Same thing like cryptocurrency if bitcoin is up , the altcoin would be up too in the future. Yes , as you said is about usage. |

It doesn't matter about flat if bitcoin price rises up in the future , if flat is up other flat is up too. Same thing like cryptocurrency if bitcoin is up , the altcoin would be up too in the future. Yes , as you said is about usage. Hard to believe that bitcoin price can reach up to $10,000 or even higher . But once it is happened , it might affected not too much to fiat money . People will just think bitcoin as a commodity to invest instead as digital currency. I myself can not think what will happened if bitcoin price reached $10,000. |

Obviously not, because whatever the price of bitcoin would be it is always counted in fiat, just look at the question, "if bitcoin reaches $10,000" then what is $10,000? That is fiat, so wherever bitcoin reaches it would always be a step behind from fiat. |

No.I don`t think that fiat will become worthless. I don`t think that bitcoin will ever reach $10,000.Maybe it will reach $1000 again. Fiat currencies will always have value,because they are guaranteed by central banks. You never can say "never"  You think only in the perspective of your own life, but in a few dozen or a few hundred years it will change for sure! Bitcoin is just the beginning! |

For first hand Bitcoin will never reach that value and we have to be realistic and not dreams because this is all wasted time if we talk about that it will reach the $10,000 so stop it also, realy not hape a idea. And then no fiat will be not worthless if that is going to happen but first you must let it happens and than we all can talk futher, the price is not even rise in the halving for now.

Fiat will stay exactly the same, no matter what the price of Bitcoin is. Nothing can change fiat beside the governments themself. The only chance for Bitcoin to make fiat less usable/interesting, is when people world wide start to use Bitcoin more than their fiat currency.
Thats not possible though because even how many people who used bitcoin but still they are exchanging it to fiat and bitcoin could not make paper currency disappear since they only rely to the value of fiat equally to their value in the market which is really impossible to happen that bitcoin could make fiat money useless. |

Two possibilities:
According to James Rickards, gold is going to be worth $10,000 an ounce of gold (today USD 1.3k). If Bitcoin reaches $10,000, I'd say the catastrophe would be even bigger. Fiat almost worthless.
OR
The financial bubble we are experiencing today gets so big that bitcoin 16-folds its current price, and the same happens to every other asset (not necessarily in the same magnitude. Fiat almost worthless.
Final result: Yes, fiat would be worthless.

But not to the point that bitcoin price will reached $10,000. As you know people tend to make profit especially the big traders. And to reach that $10,000, everyone was forced to buy bitcoin at $5000, $6000, $7000, $8000, $9000 rate and I don't see traders will do such action to buy bitcoin at that price. |
