I've been banking with M&T Bank in Maryland for a long long time. I've been buying bitcoins through linked exchange accounts since late 2011 and have never had a single issue. Smiley

Not that I know of but if there is one then it would negate the most important idea of decentralisation.

in my opinion, no bank receives bitcoin. because bitcoin is virtual money that can harm a bank if they accept bitcoin.

Is there any bank/financial institution somewhere in the world that has embraced Bitcoin? Not that I'd deposit my money there, I'm just curious to know it.
Til' now in our country, banks still don't accept bitcoin directly for bank transactions. Our government still looks to all transactions between bank and bitcoin a suspicious thing because of the scams that happen. In order to keep our money from bitcoin, we had to convert it first into cash before depositing it to the bank. I think its still impossible for banks to accept bitcoins because their system is not yet adapting to it and they still consider it as a competition. But I thinks its better that banks will not be involved in bitcoin so that there would be less transactions fees and tax to pay.

Right now there is no bank yet that is accepting bitcoin or any other crypto, Well it's not surprising because 1 of the main reason why bitcoin created is to eliminate 3rd parties in a transactions which is what the bank is doing right now..

As for now there are no bank accepting the bitcoin. The reason why banks don’t recognize the bitcoin because bitcoin and banks are both competitors. Some people want the money they invest will double or tipple in the short period. Banks also afraid to lose the income because of the movement of the value of the bitcoin can’t predict. But then, I hope someday banks accept the bitcoin scheme.  It will be comfortable to the people process the transaction and to avoid hacker.

Visa is rejecting all crypto currency payments.

Bankers would not want to loose control so easily.

As of now, no bank has started accepting bitcoin as currency.
But Bank of America has seen it as potential currency of future. This is an optimistic gesture.
However, some associations across the world have opened bitcoin ATM, where such transactions are entertained.

For me, the bank only accepts fiat instead of digital currency like bitcoin. Also bitcoin itself is not a legal currency and bitcoin just needs to be acknowledged by the government to do it, so I do not accept the bank in the near future as well. Cool

I have not heard of banks accepting bitcoin, at least my country is impossible, because my country still prohibits bitcoin.
