I don't think that there is banks that accept bitcoin because they are afraid and not into volatile things and to the things that they can't regulate then it is a no for them. Banks are very strict to accepting new things unless they can regulate it so they will have an advantage to that thing and make something for themselves as a benefit.

Is there any bank/financial institution somewhere in the world that has embraced Bitcoin? Not that I'd deposit my money there, I'm just curious to know it.
In the world there are investors who think that they can open a Bitcoin bank, but I think Bitcoin is still banned in many countries so they do not have Bitcoin. In the future, if Bitcoin is better than it is now, it may be more interested in people and will have its own banks

I am not too sure, because Maybe because of its "anonymous" bitcoin not used bank Indonesia. There may be a clear new regulation they want, because if banks use bitcoin did not rule out also used some of the elements for embezzlement of state money through bitcoin. Must have clear regulation if a country wants to adopt bitcoin if obviously the regulation is certainly rather difficult to darken because it can be traced through block chain all transactions. but rather difficult because bitcoin is still not familiar, and many governments still do not know what bitcoin is.

I highly doubt there would be a bank for bitcoins because the whole point of btc is for it to be anonymous and the bank will totally destroy that ideal.

Here in our country in the philippines, We are using coins.ph to exchange bitcoins into fiat. You can withdraw your cash from banks, But last month they already banned bitcoin from circulating through banks because it affects their business. Most of the people here do not invest on banks and they invest their money on bitcoins that's why banks are angry.

Currently there is no clear rule if people do bitcoin transactions. Bitcoin has not been specifically regulated by government banks. For that reason, it is still doing an in-depth review of bitcoin, whether it will be arranged in electronic money or separate PBI for example later entered in PBI cryptocurrency. Clearly, state banks are calling on merchants not to accept bitcoin as an official means of payment. If people experience bitcoin-related losses, bank regulators will not be responsible for this. state banks are concerned and are still concerned about the risks of using bitcoin by communities. This is because banks sniff the potential for bitcoin fraud to be used for unlawful acts such as terrorism, money laundering, prostitution and drug trafficking.

You don’t need a bank to store Bitcoins. With Bitcoin, YOU are your own bank.YOU have to take all the precautions to protect your funds (backup and password protection and safety). You could use a bank to store your offline wallet passphrase, though .

It is impossible to have a bank to accept bitcoin. Bitcoin was a cryptocurrency, and crypto is the big enemy of bank because, in the mere future, Bitcoin may eliminate the bank

There will be no bank that will accept BTC deposit because that will go against the basic principle of BTC that is decentralization. But nothing is impossible may be banks may embrace blockchain

I think there are some. In my country, there are some banks, I can think of two, that allows crytocurrency transactions to be withdrawn on them. It's actually very easy because you don't need an account or a card for it, instead, when you trade your coin, whether it's bitcoin or altcoin, into cash, you would get a code that you would input in the ATM machine and get your cash equivalent of the cryptocurrency you sold. However, there are still more bank that find cryptocurrency a bit doubtful, and so many of them have their own security protocols and measures with regards to dealings connected to cryptocurrency.

Recently I read news about banks that even block account of people that use it to trade crypto. Therefor you if withdraw your earned profit from Kraken, they will freeze your account. just like that.

Now they are conducting several ICOs. They are discouraged from making storage of the crypto currency in the bank and freely convert it

I don't think so. Perhaps it is the wallet company that you are currently joined that converts bitcoin into whatever currency it is in your country. But, I highly doubt that banks accept bitcoin since they have this specific rule of only accepting money that has a physical form that is why I doubt that banks accept bitcoin.

I think there are no banks who accept Bitcoins. But indirectly exchanges can send money to bank accounts for withdrawal purpose. That means bitcoins can convert into fiat currencies through bank accounts.

In my country, two banks accept bitcoin, and exchange it as a currency.))
How and why? Accepting bitcoin is a stupid thing for any bank around the world. What banks are you talking about? Give the names please. Yes drop the names of the banks. And yes how does the bank store the coin they receive?? Will they store it in bitcoin value? Like what will happen if in the time you deposit it just $2000 per coin then after a week it pump up to $2500 per coin then people who deposited will come to the thinking they have to get their coin in the bank.. Oh my that was a fool thinking if the bank really accept in that way so I hope not. I will believe if the coin is converted via bank not by storing or accepting coins to store unto. It's hard to believe that there are banks that accepts bitcoins and other kinds of crypto currencies, yeah we want the names of the bank that uchchild have said if it's true or he is just a troll and wanted to make fun of people in this forum.
