Why not save ourselves the Gox or other site trading fees and buy/sell to people directly with dwolla?

Could utilize a site like bitcoinary.com or just this forum here

Dwolla is reversible. See also https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=14632.0
You'd need some kind of rating system in place. So, OTC - but, as you pointed out, some people don't use IRC.

The biggest trader, BCB has reported to have NEVER had a reversed dwolla transaction or even heard of what last I checked.

Do some people not know what a nickname is, CAPTCHA, or how to use Google?

Please try and go to bitcoin-otc as someone wanting to sell bitcoins for dwolla who has never used IRC before. What is "auth to services" option when logging in? Once logged in, do I just type messages that everyone can see? What is "nickserv"? Why some users in the list on the right side have "@", and some "+" in front of their nicks? How do I address one particular user? /what?!  Hidden host what?! Ping... I got kicked out?

Seriously, your comment above is out of place.

Has Dwolla's policy changed? I was under the impression they specifically prohibited using Dwolla to buy and sell virtual currencies unless one party had special written permission from Dwolla to do so.

Don't check things that aren't checked by default, yes like every chatroom in the last decade, doesn't matter, doesn't matter, click their name and you have a 50/50 shot at selecting the right option the first time or 100% if you understand English, WTF?, hit refresh.

Not rocket science.

I don't think paypal supports sale yet people use paypal for coins, Dwolla doesn't make you say what you're paying for. But you're doing something digitally so you can say it's a digital service
