Don't just quit cold turkey, just bet to have some fun and consider that money gone when you decide to bet it. The casinos will always win, that's their business, however you can have some fun and be entertained just the same. The problem is that many gamblers take it seriously and think they have what it takes, I never really understood how intelligent people keep falling for this.
It is hard to quit cold turkey because of that little voice that keeps telling you that you can must get back what you have lost. That is the hardest part of letting go of gambling. It is the devils voice I tell you  But if Fruitbasket says he has not played since he started this thread, I believe him. If you are a strong willed person you can overcome any obstacle especially gambling. It is sickness that does not need to be in people's lives, that goes especially for this time of year when it can ruin not just your life but your families and everyone's around you as well. Keep it up brother!  |

I agree it is hard to quit cold turkey that's why I gave him my advice. This is just the same for alcoholics or general addicts. Why ban yourself out of something forever and ever? Why the extremes? What you want to achieve is the comfort to play or drink just a little, not to get wasted or bet to win what you've lost in the last year...
If you quit cold turkey, the temptation becomes stronger and you could end up betting more when you succumb. Just play some dollars each week if you enjoy it and see if you win something. If not, you had fun.

its very painful to hear that people are loosing money in gambling websites that happened to me a lot of times , i remember that bad feeling when you know that you lost the money you needed for something to buy it or something like that because of that i usually try to avoid gambling

If you gamble everyday and lose everyday as well, you won't be able to recover from your losses.

I agree that gambling is not bad if you gamble once in a while, but I think OP is one of those people who once they start, they can't stop. In that case, you shouldn't try gambling for fun as it is a slippery slope if you are that type of person. |

I agree that gambling is not bad if you gamble once in a while, but I think OP is one of those people who once they start, they can't stop. In that case, you shouldn't try gambling for fun as it is a slippery slope if you are that type of person. Gambling is bad for me because gambling is a kind of evil hobby that you need to choose to live or die.. Just like in the real gambling you need to be wise look some people addicted on gambling because of gambling some people bring to poor. and someone kill him self by spending all his or her money or maybe he or she loan in someone that bringing you to die if you dont pay the loa price.. What you think is it good or not? |

Yes, gambling can be very addictive and if it becomes a problem then one should quit gambling for sure. However, gambling can be a lucrative venture if done right. That means that if the risk is too high then avoid it. Lower risk propositions aren't as fun but they're much safer and are more likely to result in long term gains. Observe some of the techniques some of the professionals utilize and learn from them....risk is bad unless the odds are in one's favor...that is key!

For compulsive gamblers, even if they could win it all back, they would still gamble. A compulsive gambler thinks this is all about the money. But underneath, it is not about money. I do think that gamblers love the rush of gambling. And since most gambling games are set up so that the House has the edge, you are bound and determined to lose.

usually gambler would do for every day if not they would be confused, I was addicted to gambling especially soccer betting while not the weekend I was confused to gamble, and finally I gamble in other sports. |

That is a bad thing when you are out of money. Most people will think they will earn if they still have a lot of money but in the end they will lose it. So it is pretty risky thing to do. You need to pay some interest to them and some for your recovering your loss. So that is pretty bad thing to do |

i know what you feel,yeah gambling causes stress due to losing their money on casino,like me when I win, I just lose it again. there's no way to being rich by gambling, except being an owner, and then i change my habit just gambling for fun with my extra money and consider that money gone when you decide to bet it. |

There are so many wh0 has repeated the same thing as saying "This is evil" and "don't bet as much as you can afford to lose". We as the forum logical know this already. There is no one that force this upon anyone that is a addict to gambling. They have to learn this themselves. Don't spew out the same redirect over and over again. Many people who gamble excessively have mixed feelings about gambling. They know they are causing problems for the people they love. They may become anxious and unhappy, and often hate themselves. But the urge to gamble seems too great to resist. They feel they cant give up on all the time, money and emotion they have put into gambling. They cant accept that they will never win back what they have lost. Some people still believe their system will pay off, their luck will change or they are due to win. Others believe that continuing to gamble is the only way out of a situation they are ashamed about.
Other people promise to quit, but cant. They fear their loved ones will find them out. This drives them deeper into hiding and further into debt. They keep hoping a big win will end their problems. Once in a while they may win, which keeps their hope alive until the losses mount up again. If they quit now, they will feel like a loser.

I just gamble when there is already a faucet at the site. I don't gamble my money from my wallet. Same with lotto scratchies at the c-store, I just buy one or 2 and scratch
those. If I lose, then I know it is over for several long months to a full year. Often, a year before I ever buy any more.
Back to the btc gambling. Same goes, I only gamble anymore when there is already a faucet. If I lose what was from the
faucet, so what. I haven't really lost anything.
