Right now is a 50-50 try IMO, BTC price can keep overshooting up like the previous time when it went as high as $1000 dollars or can fall after increasing to this level, buying at a more stable time might be a good idea...

I think it would worth it as an investment, price can go high and can earn profit but can lose some % if the price goes down.

Even if the price goes down, we can wait again for the price rise as we know that bitcoin keeps on fluctuating, and it would go higher in next few months, so you can sell when it is giving you some profits, and again wait for the price fall so that you can buy some more bitcoins and hold it for the future.

In my opinion, i will buy it because bitcoin has good future

I think the price still can rise, so it going to be a good investment
So you support the bitcoin as an investment, not as a currency? How do you believe prices will then rise bitcoin? although I also expect bitcoin continue to rise, but I do not hasty to save a lot of bitcoin for price increases.

Honestly I think you should. If you follow the news you will find that bitcoin has things going on.
The price included. Seeing so much volume everyday says enough.

I personally think investing in bitcoins is a good decision, but only invest so much you can afford to loose.
Also don't look at it as short term investment, but a long term investment.

Should i buy my first whole bitcoin ?

I just want opinions, would you buy a whole bitcoin ?

Please re-frame your sentences. You want to buy whole bitcoin? LOL! Roll Eyes

I think you are asking to buy 1BTC right? If so then it will be your decision. Probably now is the best time to buy 1BTC because price will rise two folds after next halving begins from June or July probably.

Do not wait for price to go down to $350 because Bitcoin is now stable at $400~ and it is not going down as I am noticing everyday. Nor it will either.

I think that anyone that is interested in Bitcoin should own at least 1. It is a way bigger risk to not risk the 440 dollars that's 1 BTC worth right now, than risk them with the possibility of losing them (it's just not gonna happen, the only way is up). Anyone that reaches Sr Member here should at least have 1 by then.

I am wonder why you are waiting.  I do not think it will drop below $400 USD in the next few weeks if at all, but if it does buy fast for it will be on the rise shortly after.  So again, back to the question, why have you waited so far, go buy now.

I think its depend on your reqruitments why you need bitcoin? If you want to earn money go buy bitcoin then trade it, you can activly buy and sell bitcoin on bitcoin exchange or exchanging crypto but I think its most risky than exchanging bitcoin to fiat, if you want to buy bitcoin for purchased some virtual things, as for me buy bitcoin for long term investment and as an payment processor, just saying

Not sure if it's the best of times to buy but if you wait you may never see this price again. Definitely go for it if drops below $400 in the next weeks (I doubt it).

He has. None of you read the thread. He already bought his bitcoin. 3 days ago. Is already holding. And was planning on maybe buying more to trade. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1308852.msg13398056#msg13398056 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1308852.msg13398214#msg13398214 maybe better lock this thread op. Then reopen later or create new one if you have something else to ask.

Yeah! You are still on time to buy your first Bitcoin at a low price. If you bought it 3 months ago by now you should have doubled your investment.

Good job for him in buying his first full Bitcoin, but I would advise him strongly against trading. Im assuming he is new on all of this and doesn't even have former trading experience. I would stay away, just hold.

If you have $450 and do not care if you lose it all, then you should buy 1 bitcoin. Bitcoin has good future.
how will you lose all the whole coin if you just hold them in your wallet until the prices rise in the future

Someone may hack your wallet and steal your coins.

The device where your coins are store may break and you lose your coins.

Or the price could just fall and you lose most of your coins

Are you against bitcoin, haha
There many people against bitcoin many are that were scammed or lost in betting and other things.
But if you can afford then why not buying a whole bitcoin, it is not a large investment if you ask me.

Thanks for all the advice guys.

I have savings and 450 bucks isn't too much to forget about I'm prepared to take the risk.

I'm thinking it might be a good investment in say 5 - 10 years ?

Fuck it, do it  Wink
If it goes to $1m then you'll be a guru and if it goes to shit you can look back and laugh.

Thankyou all for the advice,
Just purchased it and do not plan to sell for years to come.

Glad to hear than, just wait til the halving. Dont' spend it, just hodl! Wink

We can't know how deep the rabbit hole goes... I mean we don't know how high the pump will be. I just have a deep fear on thinking im doing a fantastic trade thinking "oh well, im selling now, its just too overpriced, i'll short later" but then later I realize im selling way too cheap because it was still going up... that's a nightmare.
