Creativex, I found this Avalon for sale on BitMit - not sure if you do purchases there but it's 68GH/s for $3500 (starting bid I believe)

Link: https://www.bitmit.net/en/item/52330-avalon-asic-miner

Again, not sure if you're interested in these, or if you even buy from BitMit.

Hi guitarplinker. Thanks for the heads up. That's a decent price at current bid, but it will likely sell for more. At roughly half the price, 1/5th of the speed, and over 2x the power consumption of a 400Gh bitfury kit it will not make any sense to purchase. While it would likely be hashing for us a month sooner, it's not enough time to make up for it's shortcomings. Avalons made sense at the right price a few weeks back when difficulty was lower and bitfury had yet to prove they could ship a viable product and meet a timetable.

Cheers.

We never left the race. We have a higher hashrate than Cognitive, RSM, Labcoin, ActM, and PETA-MINE combined.

Perhaps if I repeatedly type NDA the market will care. Smiley

By "never left the race", you mean shares trading under IPO price?

IPO price:  0.33
Last price: 0.1193
Total paid dividend per share: 0.037
Lost per share:  0.1737  52.6% loss.

Not to mention most shareholders brought shares from you at more higher price than 0.33.

If I raised btc through IPO, and sit doing nothing, merely paying divdends daliy, though it's scam. I bet it will be a better investment than yours.
It's pity for you, doing a lot useless things is worse than doing nothing.

<sigh>

I guess you're unaware that we had a 10:1 stock split then. Your maths are utter fail.

Except the stock went a 10-1 split meaning that if the split never happened the current price would be 1.193 btc which is over 3x return, but doing basic research into a stock probably takes too much of your time.

NP. I'm considering a motion that would modify our contract to randomly add multiple occurrences of the terms "NDA" "28nm" and "fairy dust". If it passes I'm expecting a major share price rebound. Please keep an eye on us. Wink

I've long thought it best to leave the IPO share price record alone on our spreadsheet as it's a permanent record of our initial fundrasing efforts. I've added the notation on top that states clearly "pre-split", but perhaps it would be better to alter the permanent record to indicate post split share prices. It clearly says "sold 4000", "Shares Outstanding: 51,625", and "pre-split", yet even with charts, forum posts, the OP, news tabs, & motion tabs investors don't realize just how well our shares have done over time. THIS:

...is complete and utter dog dung, but is symptomatic of the sophistication level of the average investor in this space.

Hey Creativex,

It's sad that you even have to field this crap.  I'm not so sure that changing the record would help this type of individual understand.  Some people just want to find fault in things that they weren't able to achieve... somehow it makes them feel better about themselves.

Take care

This time I can say happy birthday  Cool

I'll be 45 next week. I'm old enough to know I don't know half as much as I thought I knew when I was half as old as I am now.

Cheers.
