creativex, can you post some information about buying new equipment? We`re waiting for dramatic increase in difficulty, so what should we be waiting for?

creativex, can you post some information about buying new equipment? We`re waiting for dramatic increase in difficulty, so what should we be waiting for? Hi AbendWind. Not entirely sure what you're asking. I've been making purchases all along. The last re-target was a whopping +35% and bASIC-Mining tacked on 410Gh/s(+40%). Care must be taken to purchase equipment at a price that will be profitable for shareholders. This has meant select purchases in the secondary market. Such as the 3 batch 1s that arrived on Monday or the 2 batch 3s that I picked up last week. Cheers.

Just had to drop in between projects to say its always exciting to see those dividends shoot up! Equally exciting is the sleek new site, imho it beats most other BTC securities' webpages by a long shot.
What I do find absurd however, if I may lose face for the time being, are the amount of people's funds being invested into other unproven, high risk, expensive startups rather than bASIC. It's beginning to feel like a gentlemens club around here with "everyone" tossing money around all willy-nilly!
Shenanigans.

yeah basic is pretty well priced, structured and managed for good returns, as long as creativex can keep up his full time job of acquiring machines

Regarding the quality of posts this sure is a gentlemens club. The threads of those high risk securities are currently barely worth reading...

One thing I just noticed: The homepage link on btct.co still points to the spreadsheet.

Seems the exchange is struggling to stay up today. I'll redirect the homepage link when I queue today's dividend. I've already updated the spreadsheet to reflect today's payment. I'm also going to look into sourcing a few 1000w PSUs. The stock 850s in two of the batch 3 Avalons are not likely to survive for long with their current workload(4 modules overclocked) and we may get more clocks out of them with cooler weather. This will allow me to move the 850s in those rigs to replace the 700s in two of the batch 1 rigs. Cheers. Edit: ...and add a link to the OP ...and add a link to the spreadsheet.

Sorry, guy, but I cannot understand this market psychology Share price is going down and down like asicminer, but why??? If I had a lot of free money, I would buy tonns of basic-mining shares right now, because I believe, it is the best way to invest money at btct.co I have an experience in investing money at other exchanges, in internet companies and in the real sector of the economy. But I have never seen such unjustified ups and downs.

But I have never seen such unjustified ups and downs. Sorry, if my English is bad People often say it like BASIC-MINING is the best investment ever, but I'm afraid they (and you, specifically) just do not understand Bitcoin mining economics; Currently difficulty increases at a very fast pace, like 30% each 10 days. This is insane, you have to increase your hashrate 30% just to mine same amount of Bitcoins per day. Of course, buying 30% more hashing power costs a lot. Currently BASIC-MINING has money to do this, but it cannot do it indefinitely. E.g. suppose currently it costs 100 BTC to increase hashing power, in 10 days it would cost 120 BTC, and so on. If current reserves are 800 BTC, they will last no more than 80 days. On the other hand, P/E suggest that investors assume that BASIC-MINING will be able to pay approximately same dividends at least for 4 years. This means that share price is about 10x higher than it should be. But I'm afraid you people will only understand it in a couple of months when reserves will dry out.
