Big Crash coming

I am still waiting for this crash and to pick up some massive short positions but longs keep wrecking me  I will bear it out and have you in the end.

Me too waiting for this crash but this is a day dream and looking at current price  seems it will never come true but I have hard wish that it should come back to $250 or at least $300 so I can make good profit when Bitcoin reaches at $3000.

Correct as I’m writing this the price is over 965 dollars as soon as bitcoin hits 1000 there is going to be a bunch of bots that will begin to sell like crazy and the price is going to go down 1000 dollars per bitcoin is a reference point for many and they wish to see it so many are not selling but as soon as we reach it a lot of people will begin to cash out.

I do really hope so … That'll give me a good chance to buy even more BTC when the price drops.  Otherwise … We are going to probably see three white soldiers in the week chart tomorrow.  And the price is near 1000 US$.  These are chart signs for big money to jump in.  It's almost impossible to predict anything now.  Let's just ride the future.

many of us didn't expect that i would happen and we thought that the price will only reach $800 to $850 but now here comes the unexpected . and now the price seemed to be heading to $1000 and it look like it isn't sure that it will happen before the year ends or once the 2017 has started maybe we should expect again the unexpected .

I'm also thinking that india's government move could really give an affect to bitcoin by just banning few notes and limiting the amount of gold owned by every family. i thought that the margin between rate of bitcoin in india and the rest of the world also lead this price rising as people from india here said that the difference is about above $50 - $100 and if the demands were proven really high then i can assure that this one really matter to the current rate

I think the crash will come, but that is not that high because the value is still low and many people are hoping that the value is going to be high so they can sell it.

They are hoping for it to break $1000. Predictions are great and hopes are high, we might really see it. Not in 2016, like some people suggest ( http://www.coindesk.com/will-bitcoin-surpass-1000-2016/ ), but certainly in 2017.

It's already at USD 953, I believe it could hit 1000 within the next few months. As for the price of it crashing, that would only really matter if you placed all your savings in btc.

It depends on what people think when they say crash, bitcoin could lose some hundreds of dollar and return to a 600 to 700 level which is the level where it was just a few months ago, that in my opinion is not so bad since it give us the opportunity to buy bitcoin cheap again.

Could be going up sometime soon, but right now it is having a bit of a struggle to get past the $970 mark and I don't know how eager the market is to really get past it and keep going upwards. The good news is that it is likely a lot of people who were holding from back in 2013 have sold their stuff by now, so the market should probably be no longer held down by people selling years-old investments.

There might be a chance for people to invest in bitcoin if it reaches low prices like 200$ or 300$, even though it may look impossible but people who are new to bitcoin never saw it reach 1200$ and then dropping.

But I think it is very difficult for it to drop that much right now so the best option is to invest in it now that one day when it reaches 2000$ you won’t regret it for your actions. But missing out those opportunities will make you regret for sure.

There might be a chance for people to invest in bitcoin if it reaches low prices like 200$ or 300$, even though it may look impossible but people who are new to bitcoin never saw it reach 1200$ and then dropping.

But I think it is very difficult for it to drop that much right now so the best option is to invest in it now that one day when it reaches 2000$ you won’t regret it for your actions. But missing out those opportunities will make you regret for sure.

I don't know how do you call that people, though the price is cheap but IMO, it's still best to invest when the price is rising compared to investing when there's a major price fall back, there's a big chance it will not recover anymore.

Just to let you guys know a big crash is coming in 2016 in the economy. There is going to be a huge financial crisis but it will be worse than 2009.

The bitcoin price will skyrocket to over $10,000. However  bitcoin will be banned in all western countries. If you are reading this living in the west you should make preparations to move to Russia or China they are the only places you will be safe owning bitcoins.

The crisis will be so big it will destroy entire countries and in 2017 there will be a civil war in the USA, UK and western europe. After this the world will never be the same again it will change so much by 2020 it will be unrecognizable compared to today.

Today we are at 3 of the first month of 2017 and nothing foreseen by OP has happened. Those post full of stupidities don't deserve all these comments because have nothing true and have no basis. This kind of posts are the best place to be joked according to me.

I think, btc becomes more stable in 2016. If I had enough capital, I would invest in BTC. And I think $650 is a good bet. it is obvious that there will be a correction of the price and price will be stuck with $650-$750.
It is just my opinion. But it is very risky time to invest for tiny trader as price will fluctuate a lot in early 2017. And I do not see any sign of crashing but it is crypto. Anything may happen. Please do not accuse me if any thing bad happen

that kind of short term trading had proven work, though, with this high rate i believe that people will eventually find out a point to sell their bitcoin and take advantage of this price rising. that's always happening just like few years back when bitcoin price rising just like this, people didn't waiting for a long time for nothing

A correction has been imminent since the price broke through the $900 level, and look where we stand right now. Nothing goes only up in value without corrections in between. Other than that, I wouldn't feel comfortable to buy at current prices either. That's why I have done my buying well below $400 when basically everyone had plenty of time to do so. If people decide to buy at current prices where their intention is to make some short term profits, then it's a pure gamble. If you accept the risk, then go for it, but it's not a wise thing to do so.

Just to play safe! Short trading! You could also earn in that strategy but as always it is smaller than long term trading! We know if we hold bitcoin in years then we could say that we could earn big! I do agree sometimes we are just scared of loosing big in the long run so we do choose short trade over long run trading.

As it seems to be the case, many people were expecting the correction at around $800 levels, and there was a thread now locked about that. It didn't happen. Then $900 came to light, and again there was no correction, apart from a short term drop to $850, which was quickly soaked in. Some traders started to heavily short Bitcoin after the price came close to $1,000 per coin, and their positions got quickly liquidated by the exchange due to losses incurred. What if the price continues to soar?
