Theres an old phrase, buy the rumour sell the news.  If BTC goes to ETF then you can estimate its a selling point also.    Any big use anticipated sees a price rise.   The alteration of block rewards was a fairly well signalled event, it did not start a bullish phase for bitcoin.  It was more in the midst of a rise, bitcoin went into a bit of a lull after the actual drop in block rewards.  The market supply far outweighs the daily blocks done.

Similar kind of dynamic will be happening with this ETF.  This listing on stock exchanges does open a new potential source of buyers but also its already been front run.   I think an ETF will help long term but Im not sure it will boom immediately .  In any case its far more healthy to see a rise with doubts and pull backs as weak hands sell off their holdings for a quick turn around.   The ideal new customer for bitcoin would an actual user or even better a service provider wanting to base a company on an independent secure digital currency

When a big crash in world economy happens then increase is observed in commodity market not in currency market. Specifically food, grain, medicines, gold, silver.  Check any global economy disaster to verify these points.

On the one hand it seems $ 1000 is a significant cost but for some reason it seems that the fall will not stop at this level and go below at least a short-term.

If you say something, it would be a normal thing to at least explain why the price will/might go down according to you. It shows you putting some effort in your posts instead of making yourself look like someone that is only interested in activity gains...

How can you not understand that there is more than a title that you must read? Other than that, CCN is a horrible "news" site that writes most of its articles because they are paid to do so. Their articles are most of the times filled with pure bias, which is the result of their greed. Not that other news sites aren't doing the same thing, but it's far less obvious in their cases.

They also say the last time it crashed down to $200 was because it already hit to the limit which they also said $1300, I wonder who sets the limit but I'm definitely positive that it will rise above $1300 this time. It only take a bit of time and some fud to other altcoins and this will rocket more than $1400 as predicted by gurus. If it however go the other way, then I guess I've listen to the wrong prophets but will still be buying more. I can not lose my hope to get rich because of crypto.

For the current price now there is doubt that there is a crash coming because the price is way too far from the price before and if the hodlers will see that the price is getting a bit low then they will join that and dump their coins and make a dip. Just be ready for some worst case scenario and don't hesitate to sell or take your ROI before hodling it.

I think if a Bitcoin go up sharply then it can easily go down , so indirectly it is just like at the condition when go down then it will surely be called crash of the Bitcoin in the Bitcoin market .
well here I don't think so that it's price will go at any lower price of 800$ per Bitcoin .

but i do not think that the price of bitcoin is coming down any more, its price is going to increase more and more and hope that this time we are going to touch 2000 USD very smoothly.

I do think it will go down when this ETF is disapproved, though it may not go down pass $700, but it will definitely go down.  Here is the reason why Bitcoin will go down.  We all know that the current increase in price of Bitcoin is due to ETF hype.  If we remove ETF from the equation, Bitcoin price should be going down because of its scalability issue.  Lots of unconfirmed transaction and many users experienced days of delays with their transactions.  But due to ETF (putting it back to the equation) Bitcoin price goes up because of its strong influence to speculative mind of traders.  When it disapproved by SEC, this hype will turn into a bubble and disapproving it will burst it resulting to people dumping their BTC.  This will be worsen by whale manipulators who wanted to buy cheap bitcoin so we can expect fud everywhere here.  So possibly Bitcoin price will crush soon if ETF is not approved

More than that, I don't really think that the current rally is caused by these expectations. Unlike last year halving, there is no such hype, primarily because people don't really expect the Bitcoin ETF to be approved. There is no fertile ground for rabid hype, mass hysteria or collective obsession about that. The price may go down somewhat (if this ETF doesn't get approved) but that would be more like a knee-jerk reaction which we see after any negative news coming out. In any case, we don't have to wait long, just a few days more, and we will see who will hit the nail on the head. If the ETF does get approved though, we may in fact see a massive rally (since that would be mostly unexpected)

Believing too much isnt bad at all but we should always remember the risk related on holding or trading cryptos but as long we do make money it would be fine. Crash on bitcoins price might happen anytime and we wont know on when since we cant predict future but im sure it wont go below $1k price.

It all depends on what decision will be made on March 11. If it is positive, then you can wait for the price to take off, and if negative, then there will be a fall

The way it keeps blipping down in a nervous way but immediately rising back, that surely looks bullish.  I think only btc protocol decisions matter but my view on China is just a guess

But that doesn't mean that we won't see a few attempts at instigating panic selling after the decision is announced. What we saw today (a flash crash to well below the 1,200 dollar mark) may well be some insider cashing out. But as Bitcoin is very resilient now, we will likely see the same pattern after the disapproval is made public. One thing is certain though, if against all odds the Bitcoin ETF gets approved, we should see a wild run on Bitcoin up to 1,500 dollars and likely above that within a few days

I don't believe in ETF, and if it doesn't work then it'll have to go back to 1100 in my opinion.

You did a smart move. Sell Bitcoins at $1200 price is already a good deal considering you bought it few weeks or months ago. But I think Bitcoin will "crash" a bit more longer, maybe to 800-900 dollars, but no more than this. Anyway I'm belive the price won't stay low for much time, so when and if the price down to 800-900 or even a bit lower than 1000$ dollars, buy again and hold.

This is the right advice, selling at the moment is a good choice if you got your coins weeks or months ago, since the price seems like is going down but it will bounce back like it always does, this is probably one of the easiest ways of making bitcoins.

Some people are called extremists for saying this but never sell.  There is no good time to swap bitcoin to cash.    The reason to hold cash is to pay bills, but to save in cash thats where I kinda think the extreme point of view is reasonable.      
I do not think bitcoin will crash, barring a protocol failure.   However I did exchange some bitcoin to gold via a handy website.   Thats also disputed, the gold is held centrally and it relys on a vault.  So its very much not bitcoin distribution.

The reason I dont consider that a sell exactly is that its not that swap back to government promise notes.  Its not going back to full weakness of the traditional system.  Gold is likely to rise like bitcoin is so really its a decent hedge, I hope people will consider.   Look at your national history and if your countrys money was ever linked to gold directly or indirectly via bretton woods.

To swap some bitcoin to gold is very reasonable, its a nod to possible crash in any currency standard and its just respecting the same fundamentals your grandparents lived by.  Is that so radical or extreme, not really.  

Crash means an extreme or far out data point.   Before that you could do just small things like spread your exposure.  I think people too often are running to oppisite side of the boat hoping to counter the crash they fear; this action in itself can be dangerous.  Be a moderate vs a crash scenario

I agree with you, the price would just stabilize around $1000 in the worst case scenario but I have high hopes for Bitcoin to succeed.

They are assuming that the crash will happen pretty soon because of the approval or some other reason that are pulling bitcoin down.

These people doesn't have enough time to buy back bitcoin instead they are wanting to make people sell them most.

Too bad that most of them sold at lower price and right now they can't attain to see the price is flying to the moon.

I am going to continually buy bitcoin. 1200 is still cheaper than what bitcoin will cost in a year. If the ETF does get rejected bitcoin will probably experience a small correction, not as big as people might think, and then quickly resume its bull run and a month or two from now it will set new all time highs. If the ETF passes watch out the All Time Highs will just come sooner. Personally I think the ETF will pass, its just a gut feeling, but we have a new administration one that's supposed to be more bitcoin friendly and the ETF has been jerked around for so many years now that no one expects anything, I think its going to happen and I placed my bets accordingly.

Correct because I would rather want to see a price increase slowly than there is an abrupt increase which is very scary for us. The recent drop is very alarming but good thing it's back up now, I think we will be stable at $1,200 and will continue to increase slowly overtime.
