If you don't have fun then that would be a problem. The only real reason to gamble is to have fun and test your luck, people that depend on gambling gains to pay the bills are fucked from no redemption, it's just a state of mind where you can't focus, you need a real job and not to rely on gambling.

i have only always came back for gambling just because i have fun doing it and i enjoy different games. although i have not lost as much as OP ever but also i only gamble with small amounts

but i think people who in good condition even if they keep playing and keep coming back to gamble because of have fun reason are very rare , even if we always ended it badly people will keep coming back to gamble .

It's the fun, the excitement, the thrill!
The amounts I gamble with are small, so it's not really a thrill to be honest.
It makes watching football matches for instance more interesting to me with a bit of skin in the game. I like that.

Playing for trivial amounts, a fraction of a US cent, is still fun, and when I lose, there is no need to be upset.  However, if I lost 3 BTC, well, ouch...

Its imo the entertaiment and the thrill,
that you can win big money in a really short time.

You can win a few thousand euros for that you must work 1 month, here it can be in a few hours.

That's the main reason for me too. We all want to get our earnings back when it's lost. Sure killing time is also a reason to gamble but most, if not all, do it for financial gain and keep on playin g to 'get lucky' sometime.

One a year I make a small wager into a sweep, its a few of my friends and neighbors.
We all pick a number 1- how ever many numbers of horses are running in the Grand national.

1st 2nd 3rd and fourth places gets a payout most of us watch it live on the TV.
Some others just wait for the knock on the door for the winnings 
That is as close to gambling that I get.

I think theyre coming back because for the fact they want still to win and get back their loses and try to gamble more and also many coming back counter part from losing i think they win so much in this game for the first time and keep gambling more and there are others is influence by their friends to do gambling because they see their earning good and big money so they get inspired and do gambling again.

I think what is keeping me coming back is the adrenaline rush when I am gambling my own hard-earned money. I am not chasing any losses so this is not a reason to be coming back for me. Gambling is just a pastime for me and I play simply for fun and if I have lost money so be it and I will not try to recoup my losses. Gambling is like any other leisure activity where you pay some money and enjoy yourself. The most important factor for me is to be having fun and for now that is making me come back.

I do not gamble to much but it always seems that when I do, I take the loss big time.  For example, I have lost over 3 BTC in the BustaBit game online.  It is fun and I like to play but I always get greedy with it.  I have won about 2.2 BTC back, but I lost more than what I have won.  For some odd reason, I keep coming back over and over.  I do not know why I do it, why do you?

Seriously, I don't even think it's the profits that making me come back. Well, sometimes it is, but most of the time I come back because of the community, because I like to socialize, and because I want to get tips from other players.

I think the online gambling websites have this in common - a tipping system, a faucet, and a community. So you're always involved in the site no matter what you're doing. You just can't get your mind off it.
