Dash is a total failure when it comes to brand recognition even way worse than Goldcoin

I doubt it.

Just because you Googled and trawled up a pile of brands from all sorts of trading sectors doesn't mean you can't do that with almost any other brand - even in the crypto space.

In fact, all those comparisons do is to show how successful it's been in acquiring such a coveted identity and deploy it within the crypto space.

so if there is no problem with having the same brand names, how come evan duffield tried to kill dashcoin by paying the dev to fuck off?...minotaur26 didn't answer me..why did he say that you want dashcoin to continue working?...what are the expected circumstances if dashcoin continues or stopped working?

You are quoting something from our own forum, you must understand it was a complicated process for us too, re brands are not easy people at the time were wondering if the Dash team was going to take care of DSH and the answer to that was no, we would not continue with that project ourselves.

Anyway I just wanted to clarify this for Artic, I am not really looking to convince you of anything.  We are happy with the results.

Please stop the double talk already ("complicated process" ROFL). Not only was it posted on you own forum that the project would not continue but Evan posted the same thing on the Dashcoin thread, then deleted it. I saw it during the brief time that the post was up.

The intention to kill project and take the name was most certainly there, however misguided and poorly considered that approach may have been. It just failed.

Still throwing around sand in the sandbox and hoping it sticks are we? Good thing the reasonable thinkers in the real world don't care about things that don't matter, and concentrate on things that do, like creating true digital cash.

Dash is succeeding in this area, and we will continue to, no matter how many attack threads are established. How long have you guys been at this? Are we going away? These are not new issues... try something else.

Once you've become a parody of yourself, seriously, it's time to throw in the towel...

Good advice to the same five or so Dash usual-suspects/true-believers/bagholders/instminers/first-sight-lovers who are the only ones left who actually still give a shit about the well-known poster child for 2014 instamine scams, not counting the obvious sock puppets they occasionally create in order to give the illusion of someone outside of their circle being interested.

No, those are the only ones left who still frequent this cesspool on a regular basis. We have a thriving community on Dashtalk, soon to be moved to Dash.org.

It's all a matter of perspective.

Whatever you may think of these individuals, and I can't speak for them, our community is growing. The biggest indicator of that is the new partnerships that are being formed after conventions. Investors are doing their homework, and are concluding, as have I, that these issues are not as important as the future of Dash.

In fact, it's a net positive as we have a dev who busts his hump to bring value. But, at the end of the day, you will still be haters, so it doesn't matter what I say. We'll let the markets decide.

I've looked. Same crew there more or less. Probably some sock puppets there too. No reason to think the game would be any different when played on a different field.

If you are talking about Dash (from dash.org) then its the following :

[ANN][DASH] Dash | First Anonymous Coin | Inventor of X11, DGW, Darksend and InstantX
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=421615.0

Quote

Given this thread has been hijacked, a quote from qwizzie who provided the answer to the OP for those who have joined us late  Smiley

Good suggestion. Let's quote smoothie who explains why the question of Dash's supply is of significant interest.

final amount = waaaay less than the original total supply that was advertised when Evan launched which was like 80,000,000 or so.

Yup the scam is coming out.

By reducing the supply he lied and stole from future users of Darkcoin/Dash from the original social contract that was setup by him in the first place.

So evan is a liar and a thief essentially.

Not to mention his double speak about starting a "for profit startup" then later claiming he was doing Dark/Dash as a "hobby".

Yup, we have a lazy group of haters who don't know how to develop their own coin attacking a coin that did so much for crypto, stop wasting you're time on forums and do some work "real work" not just bug fixing after ONE year.

Dash team if you see this keep doing what you doing because if you don't have haters you're not doing it right. Can't wait for dash next amazing innovation =D

Make that 2 years not one lol, the only thing they know in crypto is to cry"p"yo about it here in forums.

Smooth wastes time here while not monero or aoen is been developed instead only bug fixing like some type of a website lol.

Fluffy pony quits developing the coin and instead started a business of it with monero dice taking 10% of winning bids! Sine he doesn't know what to do after monero been copied from byte coin lol
Othe  another monero developer mysteriously wins 21000 monero coins from monero dice ! Yet nothing but bug fixing haha
David latpie gets owned as a scammers by French police and to add he was a hype coin developer!
Like I said hating on Evan because they can't code crap only while dash is mentioned by every crypto website with its innovative ways.

Also don't 4get they actually have 30+ developers and yet what they did for TWO years .....nothing but bug fixing. They can't even code a simple GUI wallet yet.

Also they spam dash Ann thread thinking it helps promote their c4appy coin but it didn't work well for them instead dash is still in top 5 currencies in crypto.

Give me a break, get Stellar and Ethereum right first, than it does not mean others fail to it somehow fixes Dashes branding disaster. Bitcoin, Darkcoin, Dogecoin, Litecoin, Whatevercoin no company or product exist and its easy recognized as a cryptocurrency.
With so many companies, Products, Services, Diat, Video Streaming standard, Japanese manga, Repository  Morse code,  ........
unique brand recognition is impossible. You have to be a real Dash dart not unterstanding the difference.

To think masternode owners have no legal challenges at some stage is a delusion of grand dimensions

All of crypto is likely to have face all kinds of "legal challenges" at some stage.

There is a myriad of diversity in this space, but moving numbers around a blockchain which isn't fiat, doesn't involve a bank and to which nobody holds any legal title is not something anyone's loosing much sleep over right now.

If any of it faces a "legal challenge" in the future then all it means is that it's turned into a significant asset: ergo a success.

LOL "bring value"?

You mean bring hype. Every time Evan has "released" something that was "developed" it was half-baked, over-hyped and then found out to be a piece of crap.
