He meant the stock crash not Bitcoin crash. Look at the stock markets around the world (especially in China) and you will understand what he wants to say.
When the stock markets crash, it is usually a good sign for Bitcoin price.

The Bitcoin price is still rising, slowly but surely. Just this past fall, it was in the late $200s. Now, a few months later it's risen to well above $400. There will also be, I believe, a surge in usage of Bitcoin and participation. It really helps when companies like Microsoft start accepting them as payment (Which they did in previous years and will continue to do so in 2016). So, actually I don't think you're correct I believe there will be a huge price increase this year.

But maybe I'm just a glass half full kind of guy.

every now and then he tries to pretend he has some TA or evidence to back his claims, but ask for them or challenge him and he will just ignore you, and just start yet another thread with some other load of crap about protocol scaling, blockchain forks, or something impressive sounding that he really has absolutely no understanding of.

It would be nice if the forum had some sort of "reputation" system where people could tag your posts as useful, stupid, wrong, informative, lying or whatever and it tallied up the positives and negatives.   Kwuk would be at about - minus several million for good thinking about now.   Instead, hes "Legendary" because hes been here for a long time and posts a lot of crap.

It is beneath us to compare stock market returns and bitcoin returns.

I think $400 is a new low, this is purely based on what I've been seeing these past couple of weeks. I don't think that bitcoin will drop below $400.
The holidays are just now over, I think some people just need to recover from as to what they have spent the last month. I think that that's one of the reason why the bitcoin market is slowing down.
