Don't forget, LTC crashed after the halving  That's because the amount of speculation in Litecoin is very high. I think it was easy 50% of the value back then. It will always come down if there is no real demand anymore. The point was indeed that LTC has not any value or purpose. It is a speculation coin with no features. See it as silver and BTC as gold (just an example). |

There is no sign of crash this month and i think it will gradually increase after halving ends.
I think the title is misleading that the price is not crash you should change it in to bitcoin price jump has begun...

Yes all the news are in favor of bitcoin price appreciations. In bitstamp today's range is less than $10. It means bitcoin is trading in very narrow price levels. It shows how stable bitcoin prices are currently trading. I believe we are going to see $500 levels very soon. |

The $500 climb in one week was definitely market manipulation. There is simply no other explanation. It's crazy because these people were able to manipulate a market that was so large. Imagine how many Bitcoins they might have had! The rich keep getting richer I guess. |

Of course it is manipulation as it always is to start the ball rolling. It is not crazy that they can manipulate in the slightest. It makes perfect sense because even though you see a so large market, it is peanuts in the scheme of things and is not large. Wrong week! Back in December 2013 it went from $450 to $950 in 7 days (though, to be fair, it dipped to $450 first). I see, i arrived just after that in Jan 2014 so never see that crazy week. Yes wrong week i misread thinking he meant the recent rise to $500. Another one of them weeks would exciting but the recent 100% rise is good enough for me. |

Don't worry, such threads are made just to create some sentimental panic in the hearts of Bitcoiners in order for everyone to just throw (sell) their coins away for cheap... And by saying cheap, I do mean that the price currently is really cheap and should go above $600... |
