Yeah, and I can't believe that there are humans like that. Is that the cause of failure of parents? Of the upbringing of the child? It's sad to see something like that. Even if there are no food left, I think I won't do it still. I would just die out of hunger then.

Either your English skills are not up to the mark, or your comprehension skills are not good. If you won't eat human meat in order to survive, then good for you. But you can't ask others to do the same. For the rest of us, it is just stupid not to stay alive when you got a choice.

As long as the meat is sourced from an already dead individual, I don't think that there is anything wrong with it. But then I am sure that none of the posters showing aversion to eating human meat can go without food for more than three days.

Well i don't think you understand what we're pointing out here and i think the argument would just go around in circles. It's not about eating someone for pleasure so why question our upbringing? I'm sure its very easy to say that you'd rather die that consume human flesh but hopefully we all don't get to a point of desperation where we would be presented with a choice to just die or, as a last desperate option, consume human meat.

Even im starving i still not be desperate as you i still find something to eat there are lot of animal on this planet. Snake can be your food for how many days there are plenty fruits on trees you can eat worms too if you want too.

Well true, only people slackers who would do that, eat anything so in a state that is very hungry. In this world a lot of animals and plants are edible. If we keep looking for something decent to eat we'll find him, and it was not human flesh, human flesh was unfit to be eaten by humans. Finding locusts can you use as food, grasshopper is an insect that is good and healthy to eat.

Any type of edible meat, if properly prepared is safe to eat. On the other hand, the vast majority of the food poisoning cases now occur due to contaminated fruits, seaweed, and vegetables.

Most probably, you will have to eat it raw, and without the addition of spices. 

If you get stranded in the middle of the Sahara desert, how you are going to start a fire? You have only sand and rock at your disposal, and these substances are not enough to start a fire.

You can try drying the meat in the sun, though. But I'd opt against it, as the precious water content will be lost.

I wanted to try dog when I was in Beijing, but it was raining to hard to head over to the Korean sector.  Oh well.  Human is much to weird for me.

Ethically I would think that if you got permission from the doner it should be OK.  Perhaps you could find someone who is having a limb amputated?  If it is from one of those gnarly car crashes where someone had their arm hanging out the window, it would be kind of like pre-tenderized.  Maybe filled with gravel though.

In an extreme case of survival, I will eat human meat if someone else can do the butchering and I don't have to look at any gory procedure of the meat being prepared. I'll just chew and imagine it's jerky or something similar.
