Hi All,

Selling 1 BFL single purchased in September (so newest rev). Asking $700 shipped/insured to get out what I paid for it.

Full disclosure, the bottom fan was making a funny noise so asked bfl to send me a replacement fan but they sent me two fan assemblies for some reason(don't think there are two fans down there) =) so up to you if you want to replace. It runs on the 808 firmware as seems to throttle a bit on higher.

Also requested some thermal paste and heat sink screws so while I had it apart could redo the heat sink connection. Thought once I had it apart might as well redo the thermal paste as have heard stories that it can be an issue from the factory and would be nice to potentially run the higher than stock firmware. Have had people tell me once they redid the paste they could run the faster/fastest firmware without throttling but obviously can't promise this to be the case.

Fan seems to have gone back to normal now so haven't opened it up.

Buyer will get

1 complete bfl fpga single
1 stock bfl power supply
2 extra bfl bottom fans
3 white nylon screws to reattach the heat sink (per bfl only 2 are needed)
Small portion of thermal paste

Shipped priority mail insured for full amount.

Pm me with any questions. Only selling as I was going to use this for an upgrade order but have purchased a couple other orders with better order numbers so going to request a refund on this.

If anyone is interested in buying my upgrade order (single sc order #8215 placed sept 15) let me know.

Can provide multiple references on request. Payment in btc preferred but may take money orders, dwolla or PayPal for trusted members.

Thanks for looking

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

I've bought 6, in 3 different transactions, in the last 2 weeks for $450 and under.  I haven't really had to look around very hard to find these deals either and all are Rev.3 as well.  Just an FYI but I guess peeps can sell for whatever they can get for them but just pays not to jump on the first ones you see.

These things are not worth more than $600 max. Really though, $500 I feel is the max anyone should pay. It's a used device that sold for $600 new, and is about to be outdated in probably a month max.

Keep in mind the BFL Single prices are currently being influenced by the BFL trade-up program.  Sellers believe their singles are worth the trade-up value when they offer them for resale.  As long as the trade-up program is in effect, BFL singles will be artificially expensive.  Once the program ends they'll be the same as a Jalapeno.

Any BFL single that doesn't already have a ASIC upgrade order attached to it is significantly devalued.

That trade up program is the only reason they're going for 400-500 rather than 200-300 like some of the other FPGAs.
