The price MUST go up or all these large farms will become unprofitable and shut down which would create vacum in the market. So it s inevitable, the price of a commodity this big, with such a huge demand MUST rise as soon as supply gets halved.

I don't think there's a need to hype up the presence of Bitcoin becuase it's about time for people to know about it, Bitcoin has been around for a few years now and even if most news about Bitcoins are related about scam, it's still news that can help awareness about Bitcoins.

Nothing is certain and nothing is a must. After previous halving price of bitcoin actually went down. How exactly lack of specialized bitcoin farms will create vacuum?
It will actually be the same story imo, maybe difficulty will be lower and normal people could be mining again with profits? And you are forgetting that we already have more than 15 millions of BTC floating around.

Everyone is hyping 2016 because of the halving and let's face it that's pretty much all we've got to look forward to this year. Currently bitcoin has become very uncertain because of all the infighting and temper tantrums from devs that have happened and merhcant adoption is very slow.

The price MUST go up or all these large farms will become unprofitable and shut down which would create vacum in the market. So it s inevitable, the price of a commodity this big, with such a huge demand MUST rise as soon as supply gets halved.

Nothing is certain but bitcoin was designed like this and due to supply and demand the value should increase over time. If the price continues to fall it will eventually become unprofitable for the miners and if so then we're in real trouble.

Actually, the only halving we've had so far was late 2012, and the price went UP.

In theory, there's no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

and that halving was totally different 50 from 25 is not like 25 from 12.5, totally differet scenario

there is far less margin for miner now than what it was before

there was always so many hypes and FUD's when it comes to bitcoin. IMO that is because there is numerous inexperienced traders and investors in the market who buy/sell which every little news they hear. and that is why this halving is going to have a big effect too.

This concerns me about what will happen to bitcoin price after 2016 ? Will it crash after the block halving ? Is there any upcoming incident in 2017-18 that may push the price up again ?

Halving is one thing that can affect the price. The drama between Core and the Classic is second. This might have greater effect on the bitcoin price, as it shows that Bitcoin devs dont really know what to do. They dont agree on fundamental things and cant get to any consensus.

I don`t think it will crash after the halving! No way! If the halving decreases the quantity of coins generated by the miners, then the coins become more scarce in the market, so the price increases. That`s the law of the market, my friend.

How do you know? That's what usually happens after a big price increase. The hype is going to be massive for the halving so people will buy bitcoins en masse expecting the price to go up and it very likely will just because of that but many people will also dump their coins looking to cash out as quickly as possible and of course this will send the price crashing back down. I think there's a lot of people who are still holding from buying in at 1k and those people will probably all dump if it goes any where near that again so I think we could be in for a turbulent time. Hopefully it doesn't crash down too far and remains at a decent price after the halving. I guess we can only wait and see.

I too do not think for any chances for prices to fall down after halving, even there would be a heavy sell off, the halving consequence will get more buyers to match that selling pressures.

Of course there is. Read my above post. The halving will only matter as long as demand outstrips supply so there needs to be a big demand for btc. Once the hype and excitement has died off people will just go back to normal so there needs to be a reason why people are going to be buying more coins or the price will likely fall. Maybe we will get a big company or two accepting coins by then but I doubt it but I do know there's going to be a lot of people dumping their coins if we get a big increase.

but the reality, price will become unstable as commonly happening to bitcoin, the price  will count on demand and supply, even halving will give an affect, but i dont think the price will go rocketing

Price will increase this is inevitable, block halving will influence that!
But we are not safe from all those manipulations that will occur.
Now we can see how they are trying to bring price down 400-390-380..
Resistance is greater!

anything is possible in bitcoin market but for price to go down there is no chance especially around the halving. if this hard fork, block size issue gets solved soon, i am expecting great things for the future of bitcoin.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

Well, you have to consider more than just the "law of the market".  You also have to realize that there is a potential hard fork coming about, and that there might be uncertainty in where miners should point their hashing power towards/exchange sites knowing which version to support, and so on.  There hasn't really been much said to how much notice people will have in advance before the whole thing comes about.  I don't think this potential fork will just be sprung upon miners and other bitcoin users all the sudden; but it could very well happen...

Point I'm trying to make, is that there are a lot of things being debated on that could affect the functionality, and therefore, the price of Bitcoin.
