What is the total number of coins in circulation?

I think the number on coinmarketcap could be misleading...

Has the promotional campaign for Francs gone out yet? What is the update on the coins for every shop in France that accepts BitCoins, did anyone receive a pamphlet yet?

A first round of 150 packs is ready. But like Duke said we're still working on the currency infrastructure especially a new mobile wallet.

I've been thinking about using the premine for boosting the operation. Doing a giveaway of 500 Francs (~17usd) for each positive answer. That would motivate them to download a wallet and claim their coins.

Since the premine is separated between 3 big holders we have to find an agreement. Considering how much the project already costed us I think 50k (now ~0.7BTC) would be the maximum budget we would put into this. So far FRN have been a financial hole for us.

Will think about this later, been really busy lately.
A new dev is going to join the team soon. That will help greatly.

You all are doing great, this coin is going to do well, I have just purchased a bunch more of this coin. Giving away 500 coins will be a great idea, though those coins will significantly increase in value once a merchant goes ahead and buys the coins. I think you should also do a promotional video while handing out those coins/pamphlets. Not only to be able to promote the project, but also to get the shop owners more engaged and VERY interested in downloading a wallet and investing into the coin. With that, you can go ahead and sell some coins once they go up, to continue the promotional offers to all stores that accept BitCoins in France. I think 500 Francs is quite a bit, especially since they are going to be going up in value tremendously as more responses for the coins gain value. Today, they could be around $17, but tomorrow, they could be $100. But perhaps for the first batch of the 150 stores, yeah, it could work to do 500. But this amount may need to be adjusted for the second batch of users, because one these go out, the price of the coin will spike like crazy. Especially if you are filming while you are doing this and then posting a video about it. The project is amazing, the website is super, and you guys are nice. Keep up the good work!!!

I agree, giving away free coins is a good gesture, a statement of intent to support the project, but 500 for each business might be a bit too much considering the coin's potential to climb.

Is it just me who finds Francs devalued? I just met that coin and I think it's being underestimated! What's the roadmap, the news are frequent? Is dev active? Anyway, I'll be watching! Wink

MisterMerci, you must not be a very experienced investor. In comparison to what is currently on the market, such as XBY, this coin blows them all out of the water. The only thing that is missing is recognition and momentum. This can be remedied through advertising.

As to the development team, I would recommend not giving away 500 Francs to each of the first wave stores. But perhaps reduce that to 100-150. After the prices climb after the initial advertising campaign, sell some coins to be used for additional promotion and marketing. During the second wave of the campaign, the coins will be worth a lot more, so only give out around 50-75 (or perhaps none at all, and test how the response goes). Again, with the coins that you initially wanted to give away, use them to sponsor more advertising once the prices increase. You do not want to give away a significant portion of your coins, because after all, you want to see the fruit of your labor, so you have to hold the shares of your company. The performance of the coin, as you know, depends on you, your development, and maybe more importantly, your advertising effectiveness.

Likewise.... giving away coins can actually be a very dangerous thing, if you are to give them away, I would do only a very very small amount. Because if it is a significant amount, some people will just sit on them, and not purchase any more, because they will think that they already have a considerable amount.

Furthermore, a lot of people are confused about how to buy Francs/BitCoins, so please make it as easy as possible for your potential clients and list out charts of BitCoin's performance and the like to get peoples' interest. This project is amazing, I truly believe that after the first advertising wave, we will see a significant increase in this coin, I can't wait to see what you do with it.

Can we get an update on this amazing coin? Let's focus on monopolizing the French economy. The French economy is the 6th largest economy in the world, consisting of $2,423,000,000,000 USD or 3.26% of the world economy. If we can get 1 out of 121 French citizens to convert their finances into Francs, then this coin should see an investment equaling to $20,000,000,000. And that's just the French economy, let alone others who may want to join in from the U.S., China, Germany, U.K., Japan, etc. From what I know, the French are very patriotic, and they would love to invest into something that is "their own." As the cryptocurrencies are gaining momentum across the world, it makes sense that France will want to incorporate into their own cryptocurrency soon. There is a significant amount of people using BitCoins already, so it is a good strategy to target BitCoin users first, as this would probably be the most efficient and strategic form of marketing.

Please keep us updated regarding the phone wallet and the first wave of the advertising campaign. I feel that you need to strike the iron while it is still hot, as the cryptocurrency market right now is yielding much fruit. I feel that Francs will have a significant increase after the first wave, and the pre-mine coins, instead of being given away in the initial campaign, can used for sale for additional financing for advertising. I believe this coin will do great, we just need to finally start the advertising process so that people know there is a new cryptocurrency geared towards the French economy. I might as well invest a little more while I still can. Cryptocurrencies these days, especially the good ones, can be so unpredictable. They can be still for months, and then up 600% the next day. I see a lot of potential in this coin, so I think I am going to put in a little more into it before it takes off.

Again, please keep the community updated regarding the phone wallet and the advertising campaign. You are all doing amazing, keep up the great work. The website has a BEAUTIFUL design and so does everything else. The envelopes, the coins, and everything appears very official and professional.

Can we get an update on this amazing coin?

I agree that it's important to keep us updated on development, maybe let us know what percentage of the wallet/infrastructure work has been completed. But I think rushing to promote before the work is done runs the risk of giving a kind of vaporware impression. First and foremost the development has to be complete, or we'd just be promoting an idea with nothing to back it up. And in that case, the uninitiated would just as easily forget the franc and turn to bitcoin. Once the development is done, the coin's unique features will shine and a promotional campaign can be targeted at both people familiar with bitcoin and newcomers alike.

I believe having the wallet being user friendly on the phone is the last thing before promotions.

Thank you

First install FRN wallet , You can mine with the wallet
if you have AMD/ATI GPU and know how to mine scrypt you can grab some FRN faster
it will be better if you have scrypt asic and then point them to http://185.14.184.239:88 and it will be even more fast ...
