Russia is already dealing with millions of refugees from Ukraine. They can't take any more. Even Belarus is home to more than 100,000 refugees from Ukraine. These countries are saturated with refugees. Also, the Russian social welfare payments to immigrants are not that attractive to the Muslim immigrants. The climate is another factor.

Christianity doesn't talk about child marriage. Rather, Christianity talks about love. In all but severe cases, with extremely messed up conditions, child marriage is not love. Love has to do with waiting for the child to become an adult, and then guiding him or her to make their own decision based on both love and wisdom.

In Islamic states, child marriage can be a protection for a child where there is no other way to protect the child. For example. A man who is a master and owner of property and slaves, might fall in love with a slave woman and create a female child by her. Because marrying the slave woman might endanger his estate, and both of their lives, neither the woman nor the master would want to get married. So, to protect the female child that is his daughter secretly, but is a slave by birth outside of marriage, the master marries her... but would never even think of having sex with her.

I think this people are doing it for their own pleasure, christian doesn't even allow under age relationship but they cant stop it. But in Muslim child marriage is a tradition just like adult marriage.

ISLAMABAD:
Another move to ban child marriages in Pakistan has fallen at the first hurdle. The bill to prohibit underage marriages has been withdrawn after the Council of Islamic Ideology (CII) declared it un-Islamic.

The ruling party lawmaker, who moved the bill, withdrew her proposal on Thursday following staunch resistance from the council, which advises the legislature whether or not a certain law is Sharia-compliant.

The National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony rejected the Child Marriage Restraint (Amendment) Bill 2014 after the CII dubbed it ‘anti-Islamic’ and ‘blasphemous’.

Its common situation there child marriages..girls about 8 or 9 married to much old man. Even if there is a law against that, maybe will be done something in Islamabad, in rural areas nothing will change...In some other countries where child marriage is forbidden they simple do this without registration and imam do the ritual..so nothing strange.
