It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Who is this guy dbt1033? Why he has such power to involve people in different coins?
As I understand he already participated in pump of DCR abd SC
and it was f*cking sucessfull try.
Hope he will be able to repeat it with Rads

I'm just a guy... not here to pump coins, although it happens.

I like to invest in / support projects.

So do my friends Smiley

Yeah, so pump and dump it is. Then telling urself it isnt. Like playing a one table poker tournament with friends vs others...

For those having issues getting connections, here is a utility to update your node list with the latest active nodes.

https://github.com/JJ12880/Radium_Nodelist_Updater

For those stuck syncing, here is a bootstraping utility that will download a bootstrap and increase your syncing speed.

https://github.com/JJ12880/Radium_Bootstrap_Utility

Read the readme on both for usage info!

All the best,
Justin

Intresting talks from Tele:
@alaniz
   We just want to reiterate that in no way does the news concerning ICOs in China affect Radium Core or Project Radium. We never did an ICO and we are mostly traded on western exchanges.
@Gørdex
   Panic everywhere, noobs selling, pros buying
@alaniz
   Ofcourse ICO tokens and especially chinese based ICO tokens (or smart contract platforms) are in a bit of a pickle
@Tim
   Development is slow without much funding but at least we don't have the Chinese government looking to extradite us.
@alaniz
   Slow and steady whilst showing results is better than a hype train funded with 10s of millions of USD that ends with no product
@j vdk
   Dash there self funding model works pretty well for them
@Tim
   We've looked into a model like that in the past, and we can certainly bring it to a vote once voting is live.
@j vdk
   Oh nice I would certainly vote pro self funding
@alaniz
   Yeah once smartchain v3.1 is out we have a few proposals for the core protocol and otherwise we will get passed the community
@DKDigitally
   That's a great idea. Decred does this too. I'd be happy to vote yes on this to secure the projects long term future.

Excellent idea about dedicated funds for RADS development, what do you think guys, would you vote pro such funding to boost development?

I agree, dev fund will accelerate project growth and adoptation, also can help to focus on the mass adoption and promo activities like video in youtube, tutorial, social media, etc

Is this project somehow associated with nuclear power or what is it all about? That's what the name implies Wink
