Can someone briefly please explain in common terms (to someone with little crypto knowledge) what the innovation for Radium is?

It should take you a bit of research looking at this thread and the website (https://radiumcore.org) to figure this out for yourself.
It will be easier for him to just read the WhitePaper.
Remember - do not invest in the project, before researching by yourself.
Always question what you read, and never risk more than you can lose. That being said, I do think this coin is heading down the right path. Very few coins in existence(2.6million) as of last week. Happy staking..... Grin

The block chain is the main innovation of Bitcoin. It is the first distributed timestamping system.

Guys, noob question here:
I'm relatively new to operating a proof of stake wallet, so I don't know how this works exactly.

After unlocking tha walet and staking, I have let's say 100 weight. Over time it should increase as the coin ages, right? But what if my pc looses the network connection or crashes, etc., will the weight reset, or will it retain the incremented value?

Maybe It needs to be reinstalled (database)(corrupted) or (-reindex) whichever you feel more comfortable with. (never erase the wallet.dat file) Save a copy of the files before you start playing with it.

this will help just make sure that the wallet.dat is completely save, so whatever happen you can just import it inside any wallet and
your coin will be save just need it to be done properly and accordingly rads is on its way to hype again seeing good movement now

You can look here. It is bitcoin, but similar situation. https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/3822/moving-the-bitcoin-folder-from-appdata or you could just google" blockchain move directory bitcoin " make sure you have a copy before you do anything and turn off the radium qt.

I'm generally on the stock exchange not so long ago, but I like how the course plays with the mood of the people, pure psychology. In the fall all the screaming all the bad, bad coin, and with the growth, you start to scream we told you we believed, but those who cried before that these coins are all empty, continue to scream, only now their screams lost profits. funny

On average you get 1 stake every 24h hours for every 1,000 RADS you are staking.

I can confirm it is about 1 coin per 1000 some days more some less. Sometimes I go 2 days without a block.  Check it for a week....
