In the original xRadon thread there was a mention that the protocol would enable decentralized storage. Where does Radium stand on that? Is this something that will be / is implemented? If so, how?
Currently, decentralized storage is not something that is being actively developed. The project team decided to go another direction, and focus on the SmartChain functionality. Will there be a Linux client?
Maybe. Currently the SmartChain only runs on windows, but may be able to make a mono compatible version in the future. This: > I will continue to develop it and provide support as my time and interest allows. Sucks. A successful project needs developer dedication.
Perhaps it is not worded the best. I can assure you of my dedication to the project, but I still have to make a living. Maybe someday Radium will be able to feed me and keep a roof over my head, but that day is not today. Any uses-cases so far for Radium?
Sure! See this post. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1333026.msg13672193#msg13672193Note that #3 is no longer in testing, and is fully implemented. I will see about getting them added to the ANN. Pre-mine?
No, it was all PoW distribution. If you have any more questions, just ask! JJ

Talk about pump and dump. -95% on polo. Yet again, stupid people lose money and a few 'developers' make a few 100 BTC.
Dont waste your time. People love PD. Any coin without PD it will worth nothing. Let people being fooled. They love that because of their greedy nature Save your energy for another hunt. This one is not usefull Anyway, I appreciate your efforts

lol let the haters hate, holding and staking my radium here and dont care much about daily/weekly price swings. this is a longterm project so a longterm hold for me. looks like some people try to fud to get in cheap or just dont like to see if projects go on without them.
my advice to all hold strong.
yes, a lot of RADS haters , they are trying desperately to FUD the thread to get cheap rads , but let me say to them - Rads now is in early stage of development (40% or less) with new features and tech of smartchain , in few month rads will be in top 5 crypto with the price of 0.02 BTC/rads. - Rads has low supply (Rare coin). - Rads sooner will hit several Chinese exchanges. Thanks to JJ and tm, you are doing wonderful job , keep it.

Nice coin and tech but overpriced (for now). It's being pumped-backed you can see it...feel sorry for those who will be holding this that bought to high after it dies down for months and months. So many people got this coin cheap and are reaping the benefits of this now, not sure why/who would overpay for it right now.
Sorry just had to quote myself here after seeing the dumps this morning. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Nah, u r just one of the "FUDDERS" , that's just the price swing can't u see from 18K to 70K, don't u know that's pretty normal for every coin , take a look @ BitHIRE, just like RADS full of tech, and long term coin, just going through price swing that's all

Let's try to remain civil, please. The price will move as the markets decide. As a reminder, rather than bickering about price, some of the best ways you as a user can bring value to the project include: presenting ideas to be considered for development, presenting your skills and talents to the community, asking questions, and giving answers to those who may need assistance. We, as the developers, are always here to lead the community, but a community is best when we work together to bring value towards a common goal.
Don't let short term gains or losses cloud the sight of a long-term future.

Will there be a Linux client?
Maybe. Currently the SmartChain only runs on windows, but may be able to make a mono compatible version in the future. With some modifications, the SmartChain WILL work in linux, under mono. It still needs more modification and testing, but it is very possible. I will try and include a mono version with the next update. JJ

Radium DecayRadium decay is the process of generating Radon through Proof of Network Contribution. Radium decay is rate limited, meaning each user can only generate Radon at a set range of speeds. The slowest speed of Radon generation is 3 Radon per hour, at a cost of 1 Radium per Radon. The fastest rate of Radon generation is 30 Radon per hour, at a cost of 2.8 Radium per Radon. The Radium that is contributed to the network becomes incorporated in the next block's stake reward. So I've 7200 RADS atm sitting on my wallet, last night my wallet staked for the first time but only gave me 1 RADS. In my understanding the fasted rate of Radon generation is 30/Hr, am I doing something wrong here? Cheers! EDIT: I've also some other mined coins but they're 'Genated but not accepted Mined', what does this mean? Here's an overview: http://screencast.com/t/86hIDoCCUJA
