Radium DecayRadium decay is the process of generating Radon through Proof of Network Contribution. Radium decay is rate limited, meaning each user can only generate Radon at a set range of speeds. The slowest speed of Radon generation is 3 Radon per hour, at a cost of 1 Radium per Radon. The fastest rate of Radon generation is 30 Radon per hour, at a cost of 2.8 Radium per Radon. The Radium that is contributed to the network becomes incorporated in the next block's stake reward. So I've 7200 RADS atm sitting on my wallet, last night my wallet staked for the first time but only gave me 1 RADS. In my understanding the fasted rate of Radon generation is 30/Hr, am I doing something wrong here? Cheers! What you see is just usual POS Block Time: 1 Minute Block Maturity: 60 Blocks PoS Rewards: 1 Coin / block Minimum Stake Age: 6 Hours Daily Generation: ~ 1440 coins
Not Radium Decay, I am not sure if it is already implemented

Not Radium Decay, I am not sure if it is already implemented Radium decay is through the SmartChain client, download it and give it a try. Here is an update on development from my side of the project: https://github.com/tm2013/SmartChain-OP_RETURNCredit to bitkapp for some optimizations.

EDIT: I've also some other mined coins but they're 'Genated but not accepted Mined', what does this mean? Here's an overview: http://screencast.com/t/86hIDoCCUJAThose are simply orphans, I recommend restarting your wallet if they become a frequent issue.

New Splash Screen Just to keep everyone up to date on the latest SmartChain work, here is what will be new in 2.4. + New Relational Database backend + Improved sync speed + Improved display areas for Registered Users, Documents. + Complete Radon Slow Decay history + Complete Radon Send history + GUI Beautification.
Major feature additions occur in new phases ( 3.0, 2.0 etc). Sub-phases (2.1, 2.1 etc) include fixes, improvements, and GUI changes.
May the odds be ever in your favor! JJ

Not Radium Decay, I am not sure if it is already implemented Just to add to this, Radium Rads which was previously xRadon was forked during the rebrand to lower the reward from the 5 coins per block it used to reward to 1 coin per block which will be its rate going forward. Radon in the smartchain client (which runs as another program on top of the radium core coin wallet) is a separate token generated by the decay function and has nothing to do with the POS reward for staking Radium Rads coins. If you hold Radium and want to stake it you need only the Radium coin wallet and will be rewarded 1 coin per block. The reason that the reward was dropped from 5 coins per block to a steady 1 coin per block is the Proof of network contribution where decayed Radium are awarded back to the POS stakers. If you would like to make use of the separate smartchain program its thread is linked in the OP and throughout the thread. Shut down your radium wallet and launch the smartchain program, it will reopen up the radium coin wallet. Create an address in the smartchain with an unlocked radium wallet and you can begin the decay process which is as follows: Use the smartchain to decay Radium coins form your wallet into Radon tokens for the smartchain. - Set your variable decay rate!
- you can slowly create 3 Radon tokens per hour where the cost of creating each token costs 1 Radium coin.
- you can quickly create up to 30 Radon tokens per hour where the cost of creating each token costs 2.8 Radium coins.
- set and forget it, by setting a maximum Radon amount never worry about needing to come back and shut of decay.
The Radium used to create the Radon token is awarded back to the Radium POS staker who solves the block your decay is included in, this is dubbed Proof of network contribution. Once you have 10 Radon tokens you may register a username in the smartchain client. once verified you may use the smartchain features. verification is done through its dev JJ12880 who will accept a valid BCT username, a twitter handle or other forms to verify you. A more clear channel for this will become available in the future. for now DM on twitter, PM on BCT, or DM on slack! Advantages to being registered go hand in hand with proof of existence. Any user can use Radon tokens to store any amount text in the Radium blockchain. Any user can use Radon tokens hash and store the hash of a file in the Radium blockchain. Guests, users and registered users can use the smartchain to verify the hash of a file they've received matches a file stored in the radium chain though the smartchain. (no cost)

so the Qt is a blackcoin fork?
Yes, it is. We are looking at many options to better it. hello i have 2 rads can i diposit in wellet and get stake or what the minimum to get stake in RADS i'm nobie plz help me and thnx all man 2 RADS would not be enough to generate a block in a practical amount of time. To generate a around 1 block per day, you'd need around 750-1000 coins. Once you have that number of coins, the process of staking is: - Send your coins to an address in your wallet.
- Let them "mature" for 6 hours.
- Set a password for your wallet (under settings)
- Under settings again, decrypt your wallet with the check-box "for staking only" ticked.
After that, just leave your wallet on, and you will receive a reward soon enough.
