What about the Ion Cloud, or is that the other dev's project?

That is mostly TM's project, though we do collaborate and bounce ideas off each other whenever possible.

Yep. A lot of people bought due to hype instead of understanding they were making a solid investment, so there's a lot of panic in the market. Doesn't phase me a bit, nor anyone who knows where the market cap is headed regardless of what day trading hobbyists do in the short term. I'm just hoping I can take some profits elsewhere in time to catch this dip.

+1.  I see some hit last night, more chance to collect more of this coin.  Silly to sell but given some people have coins cheapers, it's all good for some to take profit now.  Though I think they sold off a bit early given trend of this coin re. price and development.  Could be well above this level in short amount of time......tsktsk.

Some people are investors, other people are traders.  I've never been any good at trading, so I tend to find what I think is worthy and just invest.  I've actually made more with good picks vs. good timing.  The traders tend to churn, and the high volume captures the attention of more and more people.  "Hey, did you see that xyz coin.... it had more volume on Polo than ABC coin... think I'll check it out."

Traders are a part of the ecosystem, just not a part I can play.   What I can do is pick up a few more coins if I think its undervalued... which is precisely what I do.  Cheesy
but you think that is going to go up Because i see ETH and EXP big pumps

We do not need a pump, we need a steady increase in price value, because with every pump is followed by a huge dump.

EXP went up 3000%+ and got dumped really hard. What goes up fast will come down faster.

Last week RADS was steady at 0.0006+ now it is above that level which is a steady increase.

In the meantime if you have RADS don't keep them at the exchange move them to your wallet and let them stake.

I like to stake the coin! How many RADS do I need to stake? Is it correct that I only need 6hour and enough network weight to start staking? I will be rewarded if my coins staked within the day?

I have a question on the smartchain, is it a own created blockchain or does it run on a protocol like factom on bitcoin ?

If its a own chain how does it handle scalebility, wont all the data overrun the chain

Yes you're right, you need 6h of coin maturity before you can start staking. I think the ballpark calculation is that if you have 1-1.5k RADS staking you should be getting about 1 RAD per day. (But technically you can start staking with any number of coins)

ya 6 hours is the MINIMUM but don't expect it to happen after 6 hours 1 minute. I have some inputs size 100 or less coins and they stake. not daily but they do. the point is overall however many coins you have, if you keep your wallet open for an entire year... at the end of 1 year youd have about 20% more coins. next year it will be less than 20% as supply increases by 500,000 coins per year

$MAID & $BTC other than that some short hodls and some long held garbage.

If its a own chain how does it handle scalebility, wont all the data overrun the chain

The SmartChain is a protocol that runs on top of the Radium blockchain. We handle scaling by managing data usage, using only as much as needed. No more, no less. Currently, data is not encoded in OP_RETURN metadata, but it will be in coming versions. Thus, anyone who does not wish to support the data generated by the SmartChain in the future may choose to prune that data from their client.

What about the Ion Cloud, or is that the other dev's project?

That is mostly TM's project, though we do collaborate and bounce ideas off each other whenever possible.

I cannot guarantee the accuracy of that explorer at this point.
The CryptoID explorer however is 100% accurate: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/rads/address.dws?XckBEEpGnSuZB2ipwXRLVfuSGZdjVSndjb.htm

Its time for a

NINJA DEV UPDATE!

A new feature called Once Click Verify is now in Beta

One Click Verify makes verifying a file with the SmartChain so simple, my mom could do it!

1
Adds an option to the windows right click menu titled "Verify with SmartChain".

2
Once clicked, your file is hashed, and compared to file hashes known to the SmartChain by a SPV style server.  If the file is known, it shows a VERIFIED message

3
If the file is unknown, it returns UNKNOWN

Its that easy. It will take no more than 2 clicks to check the integrity and origin of a file.

JJ

PS. SmartChain version 2.4 is still moving full steam ahead, more details on that as it gets closer to completion.
