How many RADS before we can stake?
You can stake with any amount, but the less coins you have the less chance you will get a POS reward.
From 1000 RADS you will be getting about 2 coins per day from POS.

I'm staking around 4500 RADS.
I get around 4-5 RADS a day.

Sometimes, they even include the mining fee.

Hello everyone. Certain download links on the OP are broken at the moment, due to limitations on newer accounts.

If you must download a client, please do so from the official website: http://www.projectradium.org/

The list of all downloads can be found here: http://www.projectradium.org/downloads/

We are working to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

Best regards,
-Tim M.

Hello,

Are there plans, to make it possible, to create votes within the smartchain?
I like your goal, to make the blockchain easy to use for "normal" people and the identity creation and might want to experiment with it for a political project if it could be used easily Smiley

Hi!

Great question. Voting is something that I have had in the back of my mind, and I am 90% sure I can do.  Now that 2.4 is out, I can focus on some of the more "fun" prototypical level stuff like voting.

Hi guys I have a couple of questions:
-Why when I am staking my relative weight is far below my current amount of coins? It happened that after the first ´reward coin` was earned my weight collapsed and in the last 5 hours is stuck (10% of my wallet value)*
-Is the 1.3 wallet available? because I have the feeling I keep downloading the previous version (1.2) from the website...

Thanks a lot,
CW

*Is it something related to the coin-age and now I have to wait some time to have again those coins computed into my weight (now they are like 'burned' into the transaction that provided me the mining reward)?

Good question!  It is  normal, and it is all related to how stalking works, based on your available inputs in your wallet. Any time you receive coins to your wallet, those coins are all grouped together as part of an input. Every time you stake a coin, an input gets spit into two smaller input. When this occurs, all of those coins need to mature again.  It is a normal process for proof of stake coins. As you stake and the more your inputs get split up, the less your weight will be impacted.   Like you suggested, you have to wait for the coins used to generate the transaction to be recalculated into your weight.

-Is the 1.3 wallet available? because I have the feeling I keep downloading the previous version (1.2) from the website...

I just checked, and the version on the OP is the 1.3 version.

May the force be with you!

Thanks  JJ12880!
It's a good way of balance the POS.
No idea why but when I change the old Radium-qt file with the new one the icon style changes but under "Help"-->"About Radium" the version is always the 1.2... I am perplex. Smiley

I just downloaded the windows wallet off the OP, and it is the 1.3 version. I am not sure what is happening on your end.  1.3 is not mandatory, so you are at no disadvantage to using 1.2.

Hello, will the Radium produce 1400+ coins per day forever?

The maximum amount of coins is 3 million. I believe that once this limit is reached, the stake rewards are generated solely from users decaying radium to radon. Radon is the asset needed to use the smartchain.
