yepp basically gambling are sin or not is your own personal problem ,
we are free to choose , but if talking about sin based on religion then it is a sin ,
most of us who gamble as habit will never care whatever it is sin or not ,

if you do it without staked a single penny i will say you are not gamble at all ,
you are just play a game , because the definition of gambling itself are about stakes  money ,

He did not say that he play without staking a single penny. As I understand from his post, he is gambling not for money (should be for fun only, not for profit). When someone said that he is gambling not for money/profit, it does not mean that he do not stake a single penny.

My Uncle said that gambling is forbidden because he was buddhist but the story different on my father, he said that I can gamble when the time has come and you have enough money to spend. People have different perspective on what is gambling either  on religious or personal aspect.  As you said  as long  there no one being harmed  or even yourself as a gambler  i think there would be no problem and you must  not put yourself into trouble when playing. And if a gambler will reached to the point that they will turned to a different person because of chasing the loss in gambling, that is totally a sin in the eye of every person.

I think if the player still can responsible for the result, it will be okay, gambling is a form of game entertainment, so if you play for fun i think its is not a sin, gambling become a sin when they hurt someone because of gambling, like after they lose gambling they go to steal, or because of gambling the family become poor and have nothing to eat

Only money is the religion in gambling so that is true if any person can make some good amount than it's normal thing for it, but who are on losing streak they have totally different views about gambling, I also will do agree with you gambling is sin in every religion but people still very active on gambling sites just to make some money for them.
