i think yes, on my religion gambling is banned
all about gamble is sin although we only see it
but you know all things which is banned its so funny and so difficult to stay away from it
It is really hard to stay away in gambling because really gambling is very entertaining and easy to attached because of money involved here especially when you are lucky enough to win as often as you can in gambling, but for me gambling is not a sin, it will always depend of a gambler how they will handle the risk. |

Usually, considering gambling as a sin is only applicable to those who are following religion, .. Aside from religion and those who have a good moral compass, I haven't seen any institution considering gambling as wrong... But anyway, I think it is wrong if it is really affecting your life, and you are affecting the life of the people around you... |

It would let you to fall into sinning. Because if you will gamble, you are aiming to be rich with that way. And the more you are aiming more fast money that will make you greedy. Once you are already greedy, that is now why gambling became a sin because you are now changed from your past attitude and most of the time you will become hard headed and angry. |

It's a sin if you become greedy, I guess it's not the essence of gambling but still there are people who are foolish enough to continue to gamble despite of the fact that they have tried many times and lose money. |

Being greedy is one of the deadliest sins in our religion.. and there are also a lot of people becoming greedy because of money and power. Gambling is one of the reasons why too much people became greedy.
Yes, many religions having philosophies against being greedy, but even religious people are so greedy to spread their religion, that is one of the practical controversy we do see in our real life. Gambling has many typical characteristics which are not allowed by any religion still people around the world people are gambling. In my opinion too, at least for religion reason we must not touch gambling by believing into 'gambling is a sin'. |

Yes, in my religion gambling is a sin. Because when you win, you can become addicted to gambling. And you'll do anything to get money to gamble when you're broke. Such as stealing, robbing and others. It was very dangerous, so my religion forbids gambling. There are many more reasons why my religion forbids gambling.
in some religion playing gambling is a sin, there is no doubt about this as in Islam gambling is a sin and in Islamic countries if some one is caught red handed playing gambling will be punish for that, and will be put in jail, but in some countries it is only banned for under 18 years of age, while the above can play gambling legally, in these countries there are proper casinos where people visit to play gambling and putting effort to make money. Exactly, I also know about it, many Islamic countries are not allow to play gambling, because in their religion gambling is a sin, and because of it, they punished the people who play it, But instead of it, many Islamic people do it, and also they depend on gambling on earning wise, But in other countries it is legal, but not for kids, and Personally, i think it is right, because gambling is not a kinds game. |

If we are going to ask the Bible about that, then the answer is yes, it is a sin but if we are going to ask the people about it whether gambling is a sin or not, I'm sure that most of them would say No, it is not a sin.

yes that is right to say that it depend on the religion faith and your country rules regulation and your country country policies which allow you are forbid you from playing gambling, if you are not following these rules and regulation then it is really sin.
I think the issue here is morality since it is addictive and can ruin your life. It is also a waste of money if you lose and if you win,it is an instant money or easy money which is not good as our religion believes that you have to work or sweat it out to earn. |

I playing every day.. it's my hobby I hope that you are not lose everyday, I think some of people thinking gambling is a sin but I look up to google and I found that gambling is not specifically mentioned within the Bible, please check this site; http://www.biblestudytools.com/topical-verses/is-gambling-a-sin/ and judge it if the gambling is a sin or not. |

I agree with you, gambling could only be called a sin when you already got addicted into it, as you said many bad things that would surely happen if you got addicted to it. Gambling game is just for entertainment but if you let it control you then its really hard to get out that's why we should remember when we do gambling we must aware on the risk might happen, just be on yourself and control your greediness and have must strong self awareness. |

Basically you are completely wrong with respect to your idea on gambling. Gambling never will multiply your money. So, gambling will never make you rich instead of you will come poor very soon. That is the reason, at least through religion way to protect ourselves our ancestors taught gambling as a sin. Gambling may kill your happy life, health and wealth. So, it must be a sin. |
