Is gambling OK? Don't bet it! There's not an easy or instantly obvious proof text answer to that question.

If those people around 17 below it is a bad for them to play gambling with a shiity life.  They just wasting money for nothing and this bad for them when they get addicted it can be wreck their life and no longer to fixed it once they involved in this kind of activity . I no longer concern this if this is they want they choosing their own path in life.

Yeah, that is right, these kids, 17 of age below must not be gambling, it will be the worst turn of his life when they do that. It is better if they just focus on their studies rather than betting their school money or tuitions in gambling. The parents must be really alert on how their childre are doing everyday talking to them and asking them how they are doing every after school.

In that way, the possibility of the children doing these such activities will be reduced to almost nothing. Their parents must be really taking care of their children.

As long as you didn't harm someone and no one get affected as you gamble, then it is not a sin. However, it can be sin once you can't control yourself that it affects yourself in a negative way. Thus, proper discipline in gambling is must.

Yes, the only problem is the addiction. It's hypocrisy to doesn't worry about money, everyone wants it to buy nice things and live better, more confortably, it's not a crime. You can try to become rich, you can try to make money. I think God wants to see everyone happy since they don't harm others, and if gambling makes someone happy, go on... Just avoid the addiction.

Remember, the goal here is to make money, if you are losing too much with gambling, stop with that.

Actually most of the gamblers don't think that it is legal in their religion or not. Because they believe only to win in gambling, But when they lose everything in gambling than they consider about it, it is a sin.

Not just before, even after hitting the jackpot, many people have lost that because of the addiction of the gambling.
The sin in many religions is more like a frowned upon concept so that people don't put their everything into gambling.

Debate aside, gambling can be fun but it is always pretty stupid for the people doing the gambling.   Typically the people people doing providing the gambling are using it to rip off the gamblers.

Definitely not a sin. It is ok to gamble and place bets. You are not doing anything bad. IMO betting alot is bad, maybe a sin, but not just betting a little bit

Playing gambling isnt a sin because its just a game which you would entertain yourself in the times you were bored or seeking for leisure times but gambling would create a sin when the times when you did things like greediness and possible making illegal actions because of addiction.

Agree, and it will be a sin if you let money can control you, don't let that money can control you, you must know how to control your money and our greediness. Gambling is not really a sin, unless you do something that will be a sin because of your addiction in gambling.

Things make most rules in this world did not support gambling is because of the unfair money game.
The one have to lost a lot of money and the other won it , the one take a lot of advantage and the othet did not.
That's what i think why a lot of groups/religions prohibit gambling and consider it as a sin, it was hurting other people, cheering on affliction other people.

That is it, what better advice can you give to this people who don`t like to gamble and think that gambling is a sin. But people like to stick nose in other people's business, here that is more obvious then in real life, hidden behind all this nicknames, people are free to wrote and reveal things about themselves more.
For people sin is something that they don`t like, and cause they don`t like it they call it a sin and talk other people how that is bad, and other shitty things. I don`t pay attention too much on all the people, you can go crazy if you get bothered what will people think.

Well we could not really recognize gambling to be sin because its not bad to have fun unless a person steal money just for gambling, the sin is the crime commited which is stealing for money. Sinful act doesn't justify how deep is the sin commited by a person who is addicted by gambling, and through gambling addiction a person resulted to commiting sin.

I think it depends on whether the person's religion defines gambling as a sin. Some religions forbid their followers from gambling because it may lead to othee vile greedy actions. We just have to respect other people's beliefs when it comes to how they look at gambling

Not a sin for someone with - 8 negative trusts from the DT. I mean what could be worst than scamming people or promoting it? As far as gambling is concerned, no God ever said don't gamble. Neither Bible mentions it. That should be convincing.

I guess everyone here in this forum knows what you said. But there are still others had their own interpretation about that question, But for me I have no comment for what the bible says about in gambling, because gambling is one of the evil habit, but I'm not saying that the gambler is evil no it's not what I'm trying to say.
