And there are more reasons I don't know them all. But at the end of the day its up to you whether you will gamble or not.

People have different perspective in life. It is upon on you on how you take a look a certain thing. However, the important thing is not how you look for it but how it affects you. Gambling can help a person and can destroy the life of a person at the same time. However, if a gambler know what is his limits and play what he can afford to lose, he can never be destroyed by gambling yet he could use it to lead in success

But I know there would be against with and will say as long as gamblers will keep remain silent as they gamble and they aren't using others money or they aren't committing some crazy actions just to keep on gambling.

Definitely, gambling alone is not a sin, I have a relative who is a priest and he even gamble for cock fighting and he said it was only for his entertainment when he is bored. Now, if they can do it I'm sure it's not a sin, what is important is that you will live peacefully and you will not hurt other people because of gambling especially your family.

We do really have our own opinion with this issue and I believe that everyone of us believes what they stand for. But just always remember that if you started to commit sin because of gambling you are inline that gambling results to sinning, in summary that gambling is a sin.

I agree with you, also you know most of the countries announce that gambling is illegal. So its mean it is a sin, that's why mostly government not accept gambling in a legal way.

Yes, Most of countries act that gambling is illegal, so normally if connected further future will commit sin. Also, if you're faith in God this same might be applied. Gambling is a serious issue which is promoted as harmless fun. In fine, we can call gambling promote sin.

It depends upon religion to religion and most religion oppose Gambling. Islam had forbidden gambling and there is a reason for this. You can see most people who gamble are not the happy ones.

You repay your sin in the afterlife. If you think that it is not a sin or something else then go for it without having to worry. Some gambler will not be addicted when they gamble however Im sure that alot will be. Thats will narrow the words of addicted into smaller part if you see some player that are only playing with some spare change or some with huge amount

That is a good point by Islam that if with your winning a second person become sad then it is not good. That is the case to make everyone happy so if people will gamble only for fun and do not gamble all of his money then the loser will not be sad that much.

IMHO gambling is not sin, but it can easily lead to one sin - greediness, and greediness can lead to more sins.
I don't know about other religions, but I didn't find anything about gambling in my religion. If this is a sin, i am sure God will forgive me, because i don't know what i am doing

yes it all depends on the individual self. If you're a religious person, if you are obedient to religion means gambling is a sin. And I think also of sin, but because human nature is diverse, there does not regard it as a sin, so that's not my problem.  I always think that gambling is wrong, gambling is a sin, people have a different mind.
